Lukashenka agreed with Prigozhin to stop military convoys
According to the press service of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, having enlisted the support of Vladimir Putin, spent the whole day negotiating with the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.
As a result, the parties came to a mutually beneficial agreement, after which the movement of armed persons of the Wagner company on Russian territory was stopped.

Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin said Saturday he has ordered his fighters to halt their march on Moscow and return to their bases in Ukraine to avoid bloodshed.
Prigozhin’s announcement seemingly puts an end to what observers called the most significant challenge to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s regime in his 23 years in power.
In audio posted to social media, Prigozhin said that while his troops were just 120 miles from Moscow, he chose to turn back to avoid “shedding Russian blood.”

It was amazing to watch the propaganda unfold online, including on this site, stating Wagner was going to topple Putin.
So far as I read, Prigozhin never stated this was about ousting Putin. It was about ousting some in leadership, and leaving the rest of the government intact as is (which would include Putin). Prigozhin's statements. [1][2] and a great summary of why [3]

Seems to me all Prigozhin wanted was to be able to call the shots on how the war was conducted.
