Trump’s VP: Ranking the candidates from most likely to least
The Hill ^ | 12/03/2023 | Brett Samuels

The Republican presidential primary calendar won’t officially kick off until the Jan. 15, 2024, Iowa caucuses, but former President Trump’s dominant position in the polls has already sparked chatter about who could join him on a general election ticket.

Trump is leading his primary rivals by an average of 60 percent at the national level and more than 20 percent in state surveys, creating a sense that the nomination is his to lose.

Some have started to look beyond the primary calendar and toward a rematch between Trump and President Biden, with former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and others weighing in on who should join Trump on the GOP ballot.

Stefanik is very smart about a lot of things. We follow her on Twitter.
Probably would be a good VP choice, as would Ben Carson.

Sorghum would be good for VP or maybe Agriculture.

Whoever it is, I think it will be a big surprise.
I’m confident it won’t be another RINO, like Pence.
Probably someone with strong executive experience like himself, somebody who can rule the roost after he leaves without letting the RINOs back in power.
Perhaps not another politician, but someone high up in the private sector?
It has to be someone with an iron will, like himself, to fend off the swamp.

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) interesting choice. The drawback is that they are both from Florida.

There is only one criterion: Will the VP have the stones to NOT CERTIFY states' electors where cheating has occurred? Will he then send the issue back to the state legislatures and ADJOURN sine die to avoid SCOTUS chicanery and other Rat mischief?

By comparison nothing else really matters, criteria-wise.

Can't have some chicken like Pence saying "What I do is strictly ceremonial..." or "I don't have the Constitutional authority..." and other such weaselty.

Your idea of the person to be VP sounds good and is what is needed. Who is that person out there?

I'd love Kash Patel - knows the bureaucracy and he's a fearless badass.

But.... it's best to have a woman as Trump's VP to counteract the abortion issue.

Kristi Noem, or it could be a surprise pick like Tulsi Gabbard (who aligns with Tucker, has military experience, etc).

Not Kari Lake - but she'd be OK as Press Secretary.

I’m partial to Mike Pompeo.

Should God forbid, anything happened to Trump, Pompeo will be ready to take over immediately.
