Harvard’s Claudine Gay set to keep her near $900K annual salary despite resigning as university president

She won’t be leading the Crimson, but green shouldn’t be a problem.

Outgoing Harvard President Claudine Gay will still likely earn nearly $900,000 a year despite being forced to resign her position as the school’s top administrator.

Political Science professor Gay — who stepped down amid a tempest of allegations she did not do enough to combat antisemitism and academic plagiarism Tuesday — will now return to a position on the Cambridge, Mass., school’s faculty.

Prior to being named president just six months ago, Gay earned $879,079 as a Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean in 2021 and $824,068 in 2020, according to records published by the university.

Her new position was not specified Tuesday, but she is expected to receive a salary comparable with what she previously received — if not higher.

It was also unclear how much of her presidential salary of roughly $1 million Gay would be entitled to after only serving in the post for six months.

Her predecessor, Lawrence Bacow, pulled in $1.3 million annually before his departure, according to the Harvard Crimson.

Alan M. Garber, who currently serves as provost and chief academic officer, will serve as interim president until the school selects a new chief, officials said Tuesday.

Good, she can have the money as it ties up the funds needed to hire 2 more Leftist professors.

I assume that a residence and hired help are also part of the perks that she’ll maintain... Being a pompous and pretentious liberal professor isn’t as easy as it looks.

900k a year for being a black woman? DEI is quite a well paying racket.

Where are Jewish voices commenting on this?

Over here:

Bill Ackman leads reaction to Claudine Gay's resignation as he celebrates shortest tenure in Harvard history and asks if MIT president Sally Kornbluth is next.

Now, where are the Jewish voices condemning academia's anti-white racism?

Harvard needs to be further stripped of all federal monies, and lose their academic accredation.

She was an unqualified hire and should be stripped of her illegimate Tenure and fired with all College Degrees Revoked.

Discredited and unqualified to start with, Harvard keeping her due to race and gender only serves to embrass the black community.

She has accomplished nothing and is a cancer on everyone.

She has no academic accomplishment.

A class action lawsuit should be pursued by all students from Harvard ever denied a passing paper, a passing grade or a degree... damages plus 10x the tuition and expenses for the normal student attending in that year.

So a Dean at Harvard University can earn a salary of around $1 million/year. What does a regular faculty member at Harvard earn? I don’t read any news about her exact position at Harvard. All I know is that Claudine Gay resigned as Harvard president.

Harvard is a disgrace. They have lost all credibility. All studies and funding should be cancelled. I will not trust or believe any of their studies.

Worry not, she can write a Hate Trump book and make millions—even if no one reads it. That or do a gig on CNN, or a column in the NYT or NBC. I am sure Disney can hire her to do something? Play a Black Princes?

It is easy to be Socialist when you receive $900,000 per year with minimal skills, from wealth generated by free-market economics.

Colleges with abusively high wages should not receive any taxpayer money.

Just look at what the high tuition costs is paying for.

Anyone thinking of going to these “highly questionable intelligent” schools, should think about HOME COLLEGE EDUCATION.

You could learn more by sitting at a Starbucks drinking their lousy coffee.

I feel sorry for young people these days.

They MISS so much.

"I don’t know him"(Bill Ackman)

Harvard grad, Jewish billionaire hedge fund manager.

Here are his thoughts on the issues at Harvard / Gay resignation. It's a long read but insightful. I agree with about 90% of what he has to say.
