Pundits literally "Puzzled" over DeSantis's Poor Showing in Iowa
Election Wizard (from X platform) ^ | 1/21/2023

OK, when I saw this photo of Scott Wagner, the CEO and chairman of DeSantis's Super PAC, busy working on a 1,000 piece puzzle in the critical days leading up to the Iowa Caucus (this photo is from January 9), I just had to laugh.

It's not like he was working on this during lunch breaks either. He apparently spent hours a day working on it. But even if it was only during breaks, the optics of it is just terrible.

This is such a humiliating and sad way for a once promising presidential campaign to end. And yes, it has ended, whether DeSantis and his overly ambitious wife knows it yet or not.

Here's a photo with a wider angle, showing what I pointed out above.

Ron needs to get back to FL and do his job.
I also like what he has done for FL.
My feeling is the Uniparty convinced him to run so they had a better chance of flipping FL.

Great discussion—watch this....

From the NBC article:

“In the headquarters of Never Back Down in West Des Moines, Iowa, Wagner was, according to some of his staff, spending a significant amount of time in the precious final few days constructing a peaceful 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle of a landscape.”

Houston we have a problem....

2024 is Trump's revenge tour. I get it. This is want the base wants. But it's good that people are challenging Trump. This is not a coronation.

Yep, we've seen the challengers...Lifer lawyer politicians, establishment insiders, posers, liars, backed by the typical big party donors...And they all got KO'd because most of the American people are finally on to these Republican party frauds..

The jig is up.☺

So now we are left with 3 Republican candidates:

1) Donald Trump (R - Former President of the United States)
2) Ron DeSantis (R - GOPe)
3) Nikki Haley (R - Deep State/Globalist)

The jig is up.

Back then, the "establishment" politicans would attempt to listen to the American people. They would have done something about the border already. But the corporations are probably giving them a lot of money to keep the border open no matter what.

I use jigsaw puzzles to unwind from the world. Hot tea, new age music and the universe shrinks to the size of the table.
I find it soothing.
I do agree that people who want the picture to look bad will see it that way.

If you have worked in campaigns the “puzzle” you want to see is probably some big whiteboards with precinct by precinct analysis.

There is plenty of interesting work to be done there.

Of course the amusing part of this story is that the DeSantis campaign itself is a legal puzzle.

The campaign and SuperPac are intertwined in a highly complex and confusing way which is almost certainly illegal under Federal Election Laws.

It will be a great “puzzle” for Justice Department prosecutors to work on....

:-)

Maybe it was a puzzle of caucus places and they were missing pieces.

I doubt he’s could finish that puzzle of Trump - too confusing for him.

it's good that people are challenging Trump

Here's where you're dead wrong. NOBODY is actually challenging Trump.

He's had zero genuine challengers. There never was any real competition from the political zombies the GOPe has put up. The anti-Trump crowd is very slowly coming to terms with this fact, but time and tide passed them by already.

Well we got to see who both of them are. Nobody who should ever get near the presidency.

A candidate can run a campaign behind a laptop or go out to the people with mega MAGA rallies.
