Former President Donald Trump posted to his Truth Social account that he is encouraging all "willing states to deploy their [national guard] to Texas to prevent to entry" of illegal immigrants.
Trump made the call to do so after Texas Gov. Gregg Abbot declared an invasion and invoked Texas' right to "self-defense" in the First Article of the Constitution. At least 14 states have signaled supporting Texas in its efforts.
Spoken like the true president...Oh...because he was voted in by WE THE PEOPLE to be our president...b4 the democrat stealers stole by cheating.

I think Trump is running for president now: to be consistent, are you causally indifferent to his call for action too?

Actually, we have an obligation to our children and grandchildren to stand strong against this invasion of our country. Joe Biden has sold our sovereignty, at what price and to who? His vile spawn will be protected not ours.

um. ok. no, i’m not 100% sure. maybe you could go back in my comments since 2021. i basically stopped following Trump back in 2021 when i became a DeSantis supporter, i just filter out most of the stuff reporting on him. i already filter a lot out on FR anyway. :).
the personal stuff i long ago filtered out. shrugs, the policy stuff i assume is just the same stuff he talked about until 2021. even back to 2015-2016 when i was an early supporter of Walker and then him when Walker dropped out.
so just for you FRiend, maybe i should qualify my statement to say, i haven’t agreed with anything new he’s said—that i can recall—except for this since 2021.
amen. that’s why we should ALL be sick of what could happen if we stand against the tyranny and not be swayed by the accusations(causing an insurrection, racist, bigot, etc).
We need to be bold and courageous!

Abbott needs to stop busing migrants to Chicago, New York, Detroit, Denver, and other blue cities around the country and focus his itineraries on the one place that matters most.
Every single migrant who crosses into Texas ought to be collected and shipped to Washington, D.C.
And every city between Baltimore and Fredericksburg make the suburbs suffer too.
Why stop with the Texas border? Have soldiers standing shoulder to shoulder the entire length of the southern border if necessary.
You and I both. Bet the FEDS would have a conniption fit over it, too.
If the idea is for the country to stick together, there is no way for north of the Dixon states to give a care without experiencing the problem.

I know for a lot of Republicans the big line of division is over the stolen/not stolen election question and the bogus/not bogus indictments question.
The people who believe the election was not stolen tended to be turned off by President Trump insisting it was, and considered him a sore loser. Likewise, the people who believed the indictments are not bogus tended to think Trump has too much baggage.
The people who believed the election was stolen and the indictments are bogus tended to rally around Trump and resent the Republican challengers for challenging him instead of defending him.
Mind if I ask you those questions? Do you believe the 2020 election was stolen? Do you believe the indictments are bogus?

well. Trump’s the guy now. he’s the only game in town. time to move forward.
no point now in rehashing all the failures and broken promises since 2016 (yeah, i’ve heard all the excuses from the man and his supporters here and elsewhere).
just to say something positive about what i really liked about Trump’s 4 years:
He got elected!

China Tarriffs
Nato paying their way
Woke Corporations like Ford getting slapped down
Gorsuch is at least not a disaster
oh and i forgot you mentioned the election.
my major and career was in math and computer science. i know the election was stolen and i know how it was stolen too. :). my problem with Trump is that he let the election get stolen when there were plenty of ways that could have been set up in 4 years to stop it.
