The fix is in. To “protect democracy,” democracy is already being canceled. We just haven’t admitted the implications of this to ourselves yet.
On Sunday, January 14th, NBC News ran an eye-catching story: “Fears grow that Trump will use the military in ‘dictatorial ways’ if he returns to the White House.” It described “a loose-knit network of public interest groups and lawmakers” that is “quietly” making plans to “foil any efforts to expand presidential power” on the part of Donald Trump.
The piece quoted an array of former high-ranking officials, all insisting Trump will misuse the Department of Defense to execute civilian political aims. Since Joe Biden’s team “leaked” a strategy memo in late December listing “Trump is an existential threat to democracy” as Campaign 2024’s central talking point, surrogates have worked overtime to insert existential or democracy in quotes. This was no different:
“We’re about 30 seconds away from the Armageddon clock when it comes to democracy,” said Bill Clinton’s Secretary of Defense, William Cohen, adding that Trump is “a clear and present danger to our democracy.” Skye Perryman of Democracy Forward, one of the advocacy groups organizing the “loose” coalition, said, “We believe this is an existential moment for American democracy.” Declared former CIA and defense chief Leon Panetta: “Like any good dictator, he’s going to try to use the military to basically perform his will.”
Former Acting Assistant Attorney General for National Security at the U.S. Department of Justice and current visiting Georgetown law professor Mary McCord was one of the few coalition participants quoted by name. She said:
We’re already starting to put together a team to think through the most damaging types of things that he [Trump] might do so that we’re ready to bring lawsuits if we have to.

Although Taibbi makes some good points he also makes some glairing blunders such as Democracy. Only the morons believe we live in a Democracy because it sounds kinder and gentler when in reality it is nothing but mob rule via 50%+1 person. We all need to thank the founders for this wonderful form of government. I'm guessing that if Trump is assassinated, there will be no shortage of Red blooded Americans out for blood, and no bag limit on leftist officials at any level of government.

If he's elected they miscreants at least have the possibility of escaping to a non-extradition country.
If he's murdered they need to worry at every step, at every bite of food, at every sip, at every opening of a door or drawer if they will be "accidentally" run over, poisoned, or booby trapped out of existence.

The statistically impossible jumps in vote totals, the videos of people putting scores of ballots in drop boxes, the election counts ending in fractional votes, the covered windows while votes are being 'counted', the vans delivering boxes of ballots in the dead of night, the 'broken water pipes' weren't even hidden.
They WANT us to know we wuz robbed and there is nothing we can do about it.
To them the purpose of power is the abuse of power. They want us to be subjugated and feel subjugated and powerless.

I began to realize the fix was in for TrumpII before the holidays.
You put him in, Youngkin as VP, maybe we get the trifecta for two years and replace Thomas and who knows, maybe impeach Sotomayor...
Then in 2026 the House and probably the Senate flips back to Dems, setting the stage for VP Youngkin v Gruesome in 2028, the Deep State goal here being 40M migras getting amnesty. Which will require a Democrat trifecta. Well, you ain't getting that in 2024 with Biden, as we're keeping the House and quite possibly taking the Senate, and post-Biden Karamela would not trifecta in 2028, so she gotta go out with closing The White Hospice.

Now you have different polls (the LAT quickly and quietly dismantled that same-sample tracking poll and did not run it again in 2020) in 2024 showing the. exact. same. thing.

In 2017, he wrote the book "Insane Clown President: Dispatches from the 2016 Circus" about Trump's election campaign in 2016. A year later, he followed with "Insane Clown President: Dispatches from the American Circus" slamming Trump's first year in office. In 2008, he wrote "The Great Derangement: A Terrifying True Story of War, Politics, and Religion at the Twilight of the American Empire" about GW Bush and Republicans in general.
