Adam Schiff Trolls Conservatives to Gain Senate Race Advantage
Breitbart ^ | 03/04/2024 | JOEL B. POLLAK

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is hated by conservatives, but is running a daring and effective ad campaign in which he is targeting conservatives to encourage them to support Republican Steve Garvey in the primary above Democratic rivals.

Californians go to the polls on March 5, as part of Super Tuesday. Many have already submitted their ballots by mail.

Under California’s “jungle” primary, the top two finishers — of any party — in the primary automatically advance to the general election. Schiff could have a hard time against Democrats, especially female Democrats, in November.

If it came down to Schiff or Porter I’d rather see Schiffty win. Porter has an agenda and the mouth of a Karen. Schiffty will fall into the typical leftist yapping dog category that Kali delivers to the Senate so predictably.

While California is very lopsidedly Democrat, I do believe a Republican can win in certain circumstances. If Garvey gets 42% and EyeStalks gets 39% in this primary it is possible the EyeStalks will overplay the general election and Garvey gains 40% of the vote balance giving him the win.

(19% x 45% = 8.55%. 42% + 8.55% = 50.55%)

I can remember when SF mayor Willie Brown came to the SF GOP, hat in hand, and asked for it’s support against Tom Ammiano, a far left fudge-packer.

In the GOP letter of support it referred to Brown as a ‘capable’ Mayor and that Amiano was from the ‘Eat The Rich’ crowd. I vividly remember all the well dressed(suits and ties) Amiano supporters at the BART stations holding up their signs. “I’m a Tom-Boy!”

Would a Schiff defeat be more satisfying than a Garvey loss? I did the right thing and voted for Garvey. Still Shiff just may be smarter than us.

Then he’s going to have to call them in Texas and Florida where most of them moved to get out from under polocies he supports. That where many left to.

All three Democrats are far-left loons, so there is no “strategic” voting to be had in this race. If there had actually be a “moderate” Democrat running, Republicans would have some thinking to do before pulling the trigger for Garvey. But again, all 3 suck. Barbara Lee might be marginally preferable because she is old and dumb and likely to be ineffectual beyond being a rubber stamp for Schumer.

“Maybe it’s politics in the “jungle”.

RCV causes a lot of chaos. Republicans may 2nd choice a Democrat to take on Schiff. If they all pick the same, the election ballot may be 2 Democrats.

Schiff wants a timeout where it’s him versus an R in a lopsided final race.”

Yeah I get that. As a Republican, I’d prefer to have a choice between a Democrat and a Republican, not a Democrat and a Democrat.

Let’s see how much support a Republican gets in California.

Mark Meuser got 39% against Padilla in 2022, who was appointed to fill out VP Harris’ term.

2018 was Democrat Feinstein against Democrat deLeon

2016 was Democrat Harris against Democrat Sanchez

2012 was Democrat Feinstein against Republican Emken (37.5%)

2010 was Democrat Boxer against Republican Fiorina (42%)

That, plus I think our communist state legislature has passed a bill making it a felony for a Republican to win an election. California is DIE-ing, doncha know?

IMHO Schiff is running a very smart campaign. All his adds tell Californians how bad Steve is. Which has sucked a large enough group of Democrats to his corner. All he has to do is finish in the top 2. By elevating Garvey, he has stopped some fairly powerful Democrats and split the parties votes.

He wrongly figures that he will be able to beat Steve in the General election. His chances of going against another Democrat in the General is not in his best interest because he'd most likely lose to one of them.

For the dems it’s always easier to focus on their goal of total domination and control when they are not concerned or governed by any kind of moral or ethical standards, to say nothing of legal restrictions. To them, winning is the only standard to which they adhere.

The guy knowingly read a totally fabricated phone transcript into congressional hearing as fact. No consequences no blowback and he is about to become a US Senator.

For sure the Republicans should have raised hell when Schiff pulled that BS but they let him get away with it barely a whimper them being the collaborators that they are.

There are countries where lying and cheating are accepted. Some need it to survive.
It’s not the case here but it’s happening.

Can Putin and Saddam rule their countries without killing?
