Documents for Donald Trump's $175 million bond in his New York civil fraud case were rejected by a court because a current financial statement was not included.
On Wednesday, a message on the New York State Supreme Court's electronic filing system showed Trump's "Bond/Undertaking" had been "returned for correction."New York State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron ruled in February against Trump; his two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump; and others associated with the Trump Organization.
They were accused in a lawsuit from New York Attorney General Letitia James of inflating the former president's net worth and the value of his properties to obtain better loan and insurance terms. Trump has denied all accusations.
On Monday, Trump posted a $175 million bond in the case, ensuring that James does not seize any of his assets or bank accounts during his appeal. *** The New York County Supreme Court document he shared read:
The court has returned the documents listed below for the following reasons: Please include a current financial statement and Power of Attorney. Additionally, please list the name of the Attorney-in-Fact under the signature line on the Undertaking. Please use the 'Refile Document' link for Doc. No. 1707 to resubmit the corrected filing. Now here’s one even better - they already have the financial statements of his properties from the court case and denied his valuations. Do they think the property values have CHANGED in the last 3 months?

There could be absolutely nothing wrong with his financials, from a legal pov, but that won’t stop the left creating wrongness from nothing.
This is why I think the New York judge thinks he needs Trump’s financial statement. If Trump loses his appeal, then the bond company gives up $175 million and Donald Trump must give up the rest (464 - 175) $289 million. This New York judge wants to know how Trump will come up with $289 million so he can issue a court order to seize those assets.
When he was still President the right wing talk show host Bill Cunningham (was a loyal Trump supporter, now doesn’t care as long as GOP wins) said the Left was itching to find some record such as a complicated real estate site deal in which Trump signed a foot tall pile of papers an aide told him was cleared and accidentally said he knew there was no prior contested deed or lien on something and then would be called a liar in court. And in trouble.

They’re not attacking him. They’re attacking anyone who stands in their way. I know people who say they’re conservative but they hate Trump. They think he’s a criminal. They don’t see that this system is the one in charge of the country.
Isn’t his organization under some kind of court supervision, filing regular updates with the court for one of these cases? Maybe he should turn to that court appointed trustee and use her latest filings. They are already public record I think, and either way using her numbers he can keep arms length.
It’s unclear whether this was rejected by Court of Appeals or Engeron but I’m presuming the latter.

You asked what the issue was and I stated. Remember that the left was attacking him over his billion dollar loss on his casinos. He wrote down the loss over thirty years. There was nothing wrong with that, legally. However, the left used that to claim that Trump didn’t pay taxes over thirty years.

By doing this, they are hoping that some warped individual(s) will act upon their words. Should this happen, the media will dutifully blame guns, Republicans, conservatives etc.
The want to know who he does business with so they can conduct lawfare against them, too.
