A major part of his [1966 election] platform was to “clean up the mess at Berkeley” and other college campuses throughout the state that were experiencing protests and strikes over issues that included the military draft, civil rights and “women’s issues.”
In a campaign speech, Reagan said many leftist campus movements had transcended legitimate protest, with the actions of “beatniks, radicals and filthy speech advocates” having more to do “with rioting, with anarchy” than “academic freedom.”
He faulted university administrators and faculty, who “press their particular value judgments” on students, for “a leadership gap and a morality and decency gap” on campus, and suggested a code of conduct be imposed on faculty to “force them to serve as examples of good behavior and decency.”
Six months after becoming governor in 1967, Reagan wrote a letter to Glenn Dumke, chancellor of San Francisco State College, who opposed the unrest occurring on many California campuses.
In it, Reagan condemned “these people and this trash” who used “the excuse of academic freedom and freedom of expression” to justify continuation of the protests.
“We wouldn’t tolerate this kind of language in front of our families.”
He called on Dumke to “lay down some rules of conduct and promised “you’d have [all the] backing I could give you.”
We need to hear more of this type of talk to counter the anarchists and hatred of Jews and Israel and support of terrorist organizations on today’s college campuses...

That would be counterproductive. It would be far more effective to adopt an Alinsky tactic against them by infiltrating them and pushing their absurdity to it's natural conclusion. As repulsive as we find it, imagine if the cameras and the coverage at these events saw blatant, "Hitler was right," "Final Solution," signs and chants. The useful idiots on the crowd would be on board. It would be the best way to rip the mask off, rather than petting them slowly reveal who they are.

As far as I’m concerned they can have the Marxist campuses, they can block streets in downtown blue cities, as far as I’m concerned, they all have it coming.
Block a bridge, or a freeway on the other hand, it should be no holds barred. I would actually have loved to be there when the cement barrel gang was pulling their shenanigans on the bridges.
It would have been easy to get a crew of angry motorists to gently push the barrels and rotate the chain of protesters so they were only closing one lane. If the barrels were shifted to the proper positions, the protestors would not have been capable of self extraction.
Then all that would be needed are some American Flags to cover them, and if a group of people were willing to assist the protesters to forego food and water for a few days, who am I to tell them what to do...

How is it that the so-called Intelligence agencies won't inform us who is behind the scheduling and/or funding of these COORDINATED protests?
Antifa...Black Lives Matter...Free Palestine? Back in our day, before the world went "Digital" we could pin down the source of funding, their "leaders".
Today we see wooden pallets of bricks...frozen water bottles strategically put down AHEAD of the protest.

I still get a thrill remembering how the leader of the S.W.I.N.E. used his front teeth to assault the brass knuckles of the mob enforcers. Who says brass won’t make a spark! These did. Big ones at that!
to my mind, it would be fantastic if these Marxist factories actually have to shut down for good because the insurrections on their property became permanent or at least last enough months to paralyze and corrode these “institutions” into little piles of irrelevant cruft ... i so hope these outfits are hoist on their own petards..
so, quite frankly, i’m rooting for the campus insurrectionists to implode the Ivys and the rest of the Marxist factories once and for all!
