Donald Trump on Saturday shot down a report that Nikki Haley, his bitter presidential primary rival, has vaulted into “active consideration” to become his running mate.
“Nikki Haley is not under consideration for the V.P. slot, but I wish her well!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, signing the post “DJT.”

Based on the almost daily news stories I’ve been seeing for weeks, I’d say Haley’s ties to Boeing are going to put an end to her political career.

Don jr. posted to truth that her people put that out there because she has a PAC fund raiser coming up and she wants to boost attendance.
Wasn’t it she of whom Don Jr said he’d see to it absolutely no way would she be chosen? I can’t help but think his opinion would be dispositive on the subject
As we saw in 2017 when Trump was looking at making his pick for Secretary of State, we saw a number of media venues promoting “unnamed” sources that Trump was considering Mitt Romney. The media began making so much of it that Trump did give Romney a meeting, but that was the end of it.
Sometimes these things are folks in the media pushing their choice, or seeming to push “their choice”, but with the media you never know their true purpose, because somethimes the media push is to get the “wrong choice” picked - from the point of view of the media seeming to push that choice.
Ha.
Problem now is Haley will be “a woman scorned” like E. Jean Carroll and a certain trashy porn performer. Or even an envious sister who hates him for being better than she. Or spurned women from his past.
Makes sense..ANYONE that would have thought for a second he would even be thinking about picking her needed their head examined. He never even considered Haley not for one split second

I think the Haley people were just trying to get her name out there. If Trump picked Haley, he would be guaranteed to be impeached and removed from office.
Trump should pick a man because all Republican women politicians are RINOs, no matter how they pretend.
This was just the GOPe globalists projecting THEIR wish and THEIR desire. Not going to happen.

I liked Haley. But then she attacked Trump needlessly. It is even possible to run against your party leader without such hostility as she expressed.

Yes. Partly, that's because if for some reason the "baby father" is not around, the mother is going to depend on Uncle Sam to help take care of her children.
