A suicide bomber blew hinmself up a few minutes ago adjacent to a bus stop at the Checkpost Junction near Haifa.
At least eight casualties have been transferred to Rambam, Carmel and Bnai Zion hospitals, according to Magen David Adom spokesmen.
They are suffering from light to moderate wounds.
The bomber is still alive, having sustained serious wounds, according to reports.
The intersection is heavily traveled Sunday mornings.
It is the second attack in Haifa in a week.
Tell that to the families of the 1.5 tons of eyeballs, guts, and brains lying in the streets.
Tell me, what do you think it would take for the Israelis to act. 100 dead? 1000 dead? 10000 dead? 100000 dead? More?
Apparently December 8th and December 10th, based on where they fall within Ramadan, are supposed to be special days when Muslims atone for their sins more readily (or something like that). The cognoscenti have been expecting a significant attack anytime between yesterday and the end of Ramadan (the 12th).
Not that this particular attack is part of anything significant—just business as usual. Whoever made this "bomb" clearly isn't one of Arafat's best and brightest.

For the Israeli voters, that is a worse alternative to weekly nail, rat poison, and high explosive suicide bombers blowing up 14 & 15 year olds.
