Vanity - Looking for information on two subjects

Hi guys,
I'm a college student, interested in activism, and I need your help on two subjects.

The first is about abortion - a friend and I are working up some information to present to interested fellow students next week on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. We're interested in anything that the pro-abortion people aren't telling kids. In particular, I seem to remember hearing that more minority babies are aborted than white babies, which could be a very damning fact to this particular audience. Any information you can give us, links, book titles, whatever, would be appreciated.

The second matter is about starting a College Republicans group at our school. If anyone has any experience at that, or knows good ways to get started, would you consider sharing your experience?

...We're interested in anything that the pro-abortion people aren't telling kids.

In a partial-birth abortion, the baby is delivered to the point where only the head is in the birth canal. The doctor then uses 'some sharp instrument' to puncture the fetuss' head and then skewer the brain.. The baby arches its back and stiffens all extremities from the pain, and then dies.

It's a womans body, dontcha know.

Book titled "Grand Illusions" secret history of Planned Parenthood...

It's somewhat dated though (late 80's).

Call your local Crisis Pregnancy Center (pro-life). They have all up to date stats/info/lit resources available.

The most accurate statistics regarding abortion are kept by the Department of Health and Human Services, and their most recent, complete and comprehensive data is for the year 1997. Here's the skinny:

NUMBER OF ABORTIONS

Number of reported abortions: 1,186,039

Number per 1,000 live births: 306

PERCENT OF TOTAL

Race

White 58.5%

Black 35.9

Other 5.7

Marital status

Married 19%

Unmarried 81

Age

Under 20 20.1%

20-24 31.7

25 or older 48.2

Weeks of gestation

Up to 8 55.4%

9-10 22

11-12 10.7

13-15 6.2

16-20 4.3

21 or more 1.4

Minorities do, in fact, have a greater number of abortions in proportion to their percentage of population. Margaret Sanger would be proud.

Some statistics which I have been unable to track down include the number or percentage of abortions performed to save the life of a mother and the number of abortions performed on women who have survived rape (including incest). If anyone has solid numbers regarding these statistics, please freep me.

You may be able to find some information at the Center for BioEthical Reform. Also, be sure to look into the link between abortion and breast cancer. An aborted pregnancy throws the normal hormonal sequence out of whack, leaving the breast tissue very, very sucecptible to cancer. I'm not clear on all of the details, but it is something you will not want to overlook for your report.

According to HHS statistics, it was closer to 1 out of every 3 in 1997. Holocaust proportions.

I wonder how effectively HHS can track abortions now that women can get RU486 on the internet?

Those figures are very helpful; it's nice to have solid facts as well as the emotional arguments. We are, as several posters have suggested, looking at the link between abortion and breast cancer, as well as the fact that so many of the abortion cases, like Roe v. Wade, seem to have been based on lies....

Introduction to Eugenics (FR thread)

Grab copies of abortion statistics (be careful - states report differently), and graph them in Excel or some other graph-able program, broken down by race. The abortion rate among blacks is three times that of whites. The abortion rate among hispanics is twice that of whites.

www.blackgenocide.com

And always press the reasons why abortion is tolerated and advocated. The people who fund abortion advocacy hate the poor and minorities. They think that charity drags down the human race by supporting people who are a drain on society, and by taking away the productivity of the people providing the support.

Ask them if they think that the poor and minorities should have access to taxpayer-funded abortions, and then ask them if their position differs from the White Aryan Resistance's abortion position.

"Among non-Whites, invest in ghetto abortion clinics. Help to raise money for free abortions. Abortion clinic syndicates throughout North America, that primarily operate in non-White areas and receive tax support, should be promoted."

See if your library has a copy of Lime 5 by Mark Crutcher, of Life Dynamics.

Yell if you want more information or feedback.

Which side would have had the best effect for both women and their children ?

I don't know about the women, but the kids would be dead.

The second matter is about starting a College Republicans group at our school.

If anyone has any experience at that, or knows good ways to get started, would you consider sharing your experience?

See:
How do I find out more information about the College Republicans? - form www.YROCK.com

And since your profile page says that you are from Pennsylvania, see also:
