Two words, hate speech.
Cordially,
And as for loud car stereos - That is a pet peeve of mine as well. Why does some A-hole have the right to drive down my street blasting music so loudly that I can hear it in my house, with the windows closed?
The fact is, these activities have a negative impact on the rest of us. We have the right to live our lives, and not have to put up with this stuff. Put the strip clubs far away from where people live. Turn down your stereo so that people two blocks away can't hear you coming, or buy some damned headphones. Have some consideration for others.
Technally it is illegal for you to copy your own portrait without the photographer's permission. The image belongs to the photographer.
The group also demanded that everyone wear clean underwear, and to prove that it is clean they suggested that it be worn on the outside.
I live in a residential area that has restrictions on business operations of any kind. I made that choice when I bought my house. I didn't see anything in the original post that indicated this club was in any way bothering nearby residents. It appears a bunch of busy bodies who have nothing to do are trying to make sure that no one else has anything to do.
And as for loud car stereos - That is a pet peeve of mine as well.
Mine too. Doesn't have anything to do with strip clubs. As long as we have a streets nearby there will be these inconsiderate people bothering us.
Why would someone be embarrassed to be seen going into a strip club or a porno theater? Is there something wrong with someone who would go to a strip club or a porno theater?
Yes to the first part. No to the second part.
Mr. Sodemann is a hero, especially considering the risk he's taking in videotaping the lost souls who go to these clubs.
I wish that I lived closer, I'd have gone up to him and hugged him and in a loud voice asked him if we are still on for laterActually, the thing to do would be get some really femmy looking gay guy to do that (in a lisp of course) (:<
Busybodies suck.

"I just want people to think twice before they go in" Bird said.
Funny how the law doesn't apply equally in all situations.
Paul Ruebens didn't think so.
Screamin' MeeMees owner Jim Halbach said Sodemann's right to videotape on public property is protected by the First Amendment, as is his right to run the juice bar. Yes to the first part. No to the second part.So being a public rectum is protected by the First Amendment, but running a private business that isn't "decent" isn't. Okay.
I don't even like going to strip clubs because I've known enough of the gals in my time to know what they think of the clientele ("cash machines with legs" about covers it). But this guy is in dire need of some "positive peer pressure". Not to mention a life.

If you don't want people to see you without your permission, nobody is prohibiting you from developing the ability to absorb light waves instead of reflecting them. However, once they ARE reflected, I think it's a stretch to think that you own them.
If you want to do something on your land that affects your neighbors, build a fence. Your right to generate high energy sound waves ends at my property line. Ask that great libertarian author Heinlein what is the corrolary to "rights". (Hint: you'll find the answer in Starship Troopers)
