I noticed a great gift of time to Carville, and decided to time the talk time. It amazed me.

It is going to get very nasty as the democrats see their grip on power slipping away. Bush continues high in the polls, while the democrats continue their nasty campaign of innuendo and hate. In the last election, they almost stole the election with these tactics, but it is a different story when you try to smear an unknown and when you try to smear a highly respected president who now has the people's trust. We may be looking at at implosion of the party of ugliness and nastiness.

I used to think Russert was fair to both sides, but he's more interested in getting the two sides to fight and argue that to be unbiased. That's the name of the game in talk show TV, get the yelling and screaming up for viewership. Carville is nothing but a foam at the mouth lib, who thinks screaming and yelling will get the dems ahead in life, when in fact it acheives the opposite effect. But he's too stupid to realize it.

I don't undersand Carville's presence.

Clinton dispatched him to Israel to install Barak so that the Israelis would bend over and give Clinton a legacy.

That wasn't enough for Arafat, but it was the end of Barak.

How does anyone on either side of the conflict in the Mudeast see Clinton or Carville as anything but cynical manipulators...

The fact that the media covers either of them is beyond me

Carville was given 6 minutes and 46 seconds of talk time

Anytime Carville opens his mouth is unbearable. 6 minutes and 46 seconds is downright torture. Team him up with Begala like Fox News did the other night, and it's flat out cruel and unusual punishment.

I'd rather hear metal nails scraped on a chalkboard at 100db, having my own fingernails pulled out with pliers, and all while holding both feet into hot coals. That would be more merciful than hear Begala/Carville spew their venom.

And the reason you watched this show was??? You can watch next time and be equally as upset and the next, etc. So I really don't understand the point of giving these folks any of my time. Find something better to do!

I think everyone by now knows what to expect from TIMMY Russert and that CARVILLE(when he's not cruising trailer parks)is quite simply a pathological liar.

The most effective thing to do is change the channel and let the advertisers know why

Russert says to Carville something about democrats also getting money from Enron, to which Carville responds by talking about total donations give to Bush Vs total donations give to Gore. Not from Enron, just total donations from all sources. No talk of how much money Enron gave to anyone. And Russert gave him a pass. Nothing like " Hey, you didn't answer my question." No, just a pass for the spinney lies.

Also, Carville has decided to talk like a populist. Yeah, like he really cares about anyone other than his fat rich clients. Give me a break. This is the same guy who thinks rape is no big deal when your guy does it, and talks of dragging hundred dollar bills through trailer parks. The only good thing about Carville is that he sincerely seems to love his children. That can't be faked. Blank him and the horse he rode in on...

Thankfully I was not home, and don't care to watch this slimy show anyway. Having said that, I think I'll email Matlin and tell her to KEEP HER DOG ON A LEASH! I can't believe for one moment she LOVES this SOB! He must make life HORRORABLE and UNBEARABLE for her at home. There's a saying out there that says WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, this slimy SOB will someday get his.

Note: Usually Russert is better. Of all the liberals he and Chris Matthews strive the hardest to be fair. (Fair by comparison to other liberals) Some of Russert's interviews on the 9/11 disaster will be become classics. In a hundred years school kids will watch them. They're that good. But today, today with Carville was awful. Shame on them.

I turned it off after the Colin Powell segment. I can't imagine why anyone would be interested in listening to Carville.

Actually, all Carville has done is make himself look like a stupid idiot (which he already is). To accuse the President of trying to kill Daschle with anthrax is so ridiculous, no one would ever believe it. In fact, Rush was just talking about this during the week. He said, previously, when the liberals made these charges, people were in doubt; but Bush has been out there among the people and THEY KNOW what kind of person he is. They know he's a descent, kind, honest person. That's why this kind of junk doesn't stick to him.

Again I say, this did nothing more than make Carville reveal his true colors - a hate monger of the first degree. The more they say this kind of stuff, the more people sign up as Republicans.

There was no reason for Russert to say anything - Carville's comment was hate-filled, and every descent person in America who watched Carville make that statement already knew it was not true.

I quit watching Tim Russert on Meet the Press and the results were immediate and dramatic. I lost inches off my frustration, I had increased energy, my optimism grew back, and I feel like I'd just watched James Carville and Janet Reno canoe over Niagara Falls.

Spare yourselves the suffering (unless you're Robert Fisk, and enjoy being beaten by sweaty, bearded men in filthy robes cursing you as Satan) and click over to Brent Bozell and subscribe to his excellent newsletter Cyber Alert.

He has dedicated staff who monitor this propaganda so that you can play with your kids, walk your dog, add years to your life, remove wrinkles, end heartburn forever.

Buy, read and share Bernard Goldberg's Bias. With a good map, you need never get trapped in another cul de sac of liberal crap.

No, Tim Russert and Chris Matthews are not fair; they're from the ministry of hate--er, love. Along with Carville as a bald Goebbels who serves the party of the cloven hoof.

Did anyone bother to note the softballs and beach balls Russert gave Die Hundin von Buchenvald? Did not the Carville memo to smear Bush with Enron and the facts be damned reach into every doorway where the victims of Capitalism shiver?

Tim Russert, James Carville: shrinkwrapped belly-to-belly and shoved down the ramp of a C-130 into the howling blackness of the fifty below Afghan stratosphere.

Along with the donkey they rode in on.

I was amazed at the number of times Carville was able to cram the words, "two trillion dollars" into his 6 minutes and 46 seconds of spew.

Russert at least made an effort to APPEAR impartial, until his contract was renewed. Now he is an offical DNC talking head.

Completely disagree with you. Carville came across as the insane, mean-spirited, off-the-wall, over-the-top partisan that he is. Russert just gave him rope. There was absolutely no need to put any "tough questions" to him at all. Carville's hysteria was self-defeating.

Have some faith. Nobody believes his sh#t anymore.
