Dane posted a longer version of this story a few articles above. It gives the names of the accused and the victim. I hope as it's longer that it survives and this thread is pulled, if the moderator decides to do some pulling.

I'm bumping this. I'm not sure why. It is truly unbelievable.
It just seems like a good example of man's inhumanity to man. What is our nation becoming?

Although the original collision may have been unintended or even the fault of the deceased, leaving him there to die - in fact, revisiting the scene over the course of days to make sure that he hadn't been rescued and therefore hadn't revealed the identity of the other driver, even though he clearly could have survived if rescued - falls into the category of deliberate murder.

Obviously a VRWC against this woman. All she wants to do is get back to the work of the American people, as a nurses aide.
Hell, if the POTUS can get away with having scores of people murdered, can't we let her off for just one. It did say that she apologized to the man. Let's all just put this behind us and move on.

Apparently you haven't had the misfortune of knowing a really cold hearted woman! I had a grade school teacher (female) who used to tell her students that a good woman was better than any man but a bad woman was worse than any man that walked the earth. I thought at the time it was just her silly idea but lately I have begun to think she may have been on to something. I could tell you some stories about cold hearted women that would curl your hair. Go rent the movie "East of Eden" starring Jane Seymour as the villainess if you want to understand what I mean.

This woman is a nurses aide, she probably worked in a nursing home taking care of elderly people. Would you want this woman anywhere near your elderly parents?

How soon will some idiot say, "this does not rise to the level of murder"?

After reading this, I don't think I can handle reading anymore heavy stuff today. I'm going for a walk, this makes me feel physically ill.

My sympathies on the X. I haven't been divorced but have been widowed and am remarried to someone I love dearly. I am estranged from my older brother mainly due to his having married one of the coldest most calculating types I have ever known. I knew from childhood that he had some serious character flaws but they mostly stayed in the background until she brought out the very worst in him and the Dr. Jekyll side seemed to slowly wither away over the years. I know it is not really her fault but I think if he had married someone different the better side of his nature might have prevailed.

This poor lady was probably abused by her husband/father/boyfriend and probably had no one to turn to. My heart bleeds for her. Obviously. by the way that evil man crashed through her windshield, it shows the traits of a womanizer.

"I think this is overreaching on the part of the prosecution and the police, and in the end, I believe the law will shake out that this was simply a case of failure to stop and render aid," Heiskell said
This lawyer should be prosecuted along side this pathetic creature he is defending.

I think this ones in a class (No class) all by herself.

"The impact had hurled him headfirst through the windshield, his broken legs sticking out onto the hood."Is it me, or does this not make any sense?
If he went through the windshiled head first, why would his legs be sticking out onto the hood?
