Gentlemen I am so sorry I missed the show tonight.
I had some extended training with the Coast Guard today as part of my course to qualify as a radio watchstander on the Coast Guard Base in Coos Bay OR
I'm in the Coast Guard Auxiliary but the training to stand radio watches is the same as the Coast Guard does.
I'll be monitoring and handling calls that directly come to the Coast Guard.

AS A DIRECT RESULT OF HIS EFFORTS THAT DAY AND HIS QUICK ACTION, OVER 2,600 EMPLOYEES WERE SAVED. MR. RESCORLA WAS LAST SEEN GOING UP TO RESCUE PEOPLE WHO WERE UNABLE TO GET DOWN.
