At Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Texas back in the early '70s, Monsignor Gerald Hughes (God rest his soul) had no tolerance for homosexual activity and would kick out, en masse, gay cliques, even though he was, IMO, a celibate homosexual himself.

Lowering the hammer on gays in seminaries is the only way to fix this problem. Nobody has to give money to the Catholic Church, and fewer Catholics will if they see all their money going to victims of priestly pederasty.

I'm not sure it's primarily a problem of pederasty (molestation of prepubescent boys), I think the problem is more of priestly chickenhawking of young teenage boys, and the silent complicity of the other actively homosexual priests in doing nothing to stop it.

Remember: homosexuals don't reproduce, they recruit! And that goes for homosexual priests as well.

HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH A THING ABOUT MSGR. HUGHES! IF IT IS YOUR OPINION AND YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE, THEN YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS STATING SUCH A LIE. THIS IS EXACLTY WHAT I THOUGHT WOULD BEGIN TO HAPPEN. GOOD AND HOLY PRIESTS ARE BEING SLIMED, AND YOU THREW IT FIRST.
