"Sounds to me like this citizen has more loyalty to his "high level attainment" than to his homeland. How very sad."

Interesting enough, being a neighbor now, I saw him this morning before he went to work. I had two followup questions and he readily provided answers.
(we already chat just like ole pals now it seems/we get along nicely) I asked him if he knew when this Code 8 was issued and he said "..a couple weeks ago."
Then, out of curiousity, I asked if Israel was attacked, would he be willing to quickly go back and help?
He said, "No, I've put in my twenty years in the Israeli army; my children are here now and they need a father."
Then he volunteered that he is only here in the U. S. on a work visa and he jokingly mentioned that he has not and probably won't be applying for a green card - so if he loses his job he will have to leave immediately and be sent back to Israel.

"The Israelis WON ....this land in war started by the Arabs, but perhaps, if this would bring lasting peace, and Avert a nuclear war in the mid-East, this neighbor is might be right - give back the West Bank. (this is what I think my Israeli neighbor meant)"

Sorry, ChaseR, but once the Israel's give up the West Bank to the Palestinians to appease them, it'll never end. You see, once you start to appease someone like the Palestinians, you lose control of your borders. It is like what is happening to the United States with Mexico. Once you start to appease these people, then they will take over. To charter some contract between two parties or nations that have a history of conflict, is to create disaster. There will never be any peace between the two nations regardless of a contract or not. Palestine does not just want the West Bank, they WANT to be in control of Israel and even if that means using the United States and the United Nations. We should not even be involved with this at all. Israel is our ally just as Taiwan is our ally.

We should be helping our allies Taiwan and Israel instead of contracting with their enemies!!

That is interesting! The fact that he is in this country for a short time. There is a thing called political asylum that he could apply for since Isreal is our ally and is under attack. Or would this turn into another Elian Gonzalez deal?

Thanks for the investigation. I'm glad to know that this is seemingly what it means.

We report; you decide.

I guess they haven't made up their mind as to whether or not to become Am. citizens. Probably waiting to see what will happen in the Mid-East. In the meantime, he will be staying here in Georgia.

Until his visa runs out? Then what? Not to be disrespectful, but when it comes to neighbors like that, I'd be a little wary and suspicious. For example, a few years ago I was sharing a house with a fellow roommate who was from Beijing. He was here on a visa and was planning on teaching Chemistry here. I remember asking him about the Tianamenen Square incident on June of 1989 and he stated that nobody died at all and that the Chinese journalist writing about that story didn't know what they were talking about. Of course he was trying to get information from everybody living in the house but I never participated. I suspected he was a spy all along. I don't think he liked me at all.
