The Syrian leader has been evil, destructive, arrogant, violent for far too long against by far the WRONG people from God's perspective.

Actually, the current leader of Syria has only been in power since the year 2000. I believe much of what you attribute to him was more likely the work of his predecessor (and father). I certainly hope that Junior is not looking to earn lots of regional respect the quick way; that path leads only to death and destruction.

Has Israel ever issued a 'Code 8' before? If so, when was the last time?

I just talked to an Israeli friend of mine who was in the Army. Code 8 has been used many times and this doesn't sound too excessively major since he said this time only 25,000 are being called up.

I have to wait to ask him more questions, he went to the Independence Day ceremonies that they are having this eve.

Even if America knocks out Iran, my neighbor said that sooner or later, one of the Arab nations will hit Israel with nukes.

Regardless of how many nukes Israel has, in a nuclear exchange, Israel loses. All it takes is one dirty groundburst in Jerusalem, and the fallout will make the most populated section of Israel too radioactive to continue to live on
