I hate to be put in a position of defending attornies, but if your child were wrongly arrested for committing a crime, would his or her lawyer be defending a "lowlife" client? I mean no offense, but let's not compare the legal profession with being a stripper. Which line of work would you prefer for your daughter?

Since the time of Jesus lawyers have been one of the lowest forms of life on earth second only to politicians I'd really like to know your source for this one. Sounds like you have "profession envy." I am a lawyer with a daughter in parochial school, and I can assure you that I and most of my colleagues are assets to the community, both on a spiritual and professional level.

Actually...neither. But isn't the criminal defense attorney (who does those notorious type cases) really using his/her mind/education in the same way this women is using her body?
A different question I post to you, whose kid would you rather your child go to school with...the stripper's, or one of the offspring from the OJ Simpson 'Dream Team.' Would you want your little one sitting across the table from a kindergarten Alan Dershowitz arguing over who gets the purple crayon?

The girls in Las Vegas make one or two thousand a day easily. That adds up to about 20,000 a month. Of course, most of it goes up their nose. Interesting what it takes to carry on that kind of lifestyle.

Meanwhile politicians, lawyers and executives make money by prostituting everyone else's minds and bodies. Chew on that for awhile!
My whole point is things that motivate strippers is the exact same thing that motivates politicians, lawyers and executives and that is money, power and influence. There is no difference in the intentions of any of them, thus making them equal. So if you're going to chastise one, you have no choice but to chastise them all.

Frankly I would expect a Christain school to behave in a more Christain fashion. What has the child done that she deserves to be so punished. Was the school willing to help the mother financially.... it is none of thier business if the mother stripped for a living. Christains are so Christain.

A big seller here in NH was a calendar...The Ladies of Tamworth. A small town up north, the ladies of varying ages posed for each month. The best was on a lovely lady who was in her 80s, with no shame of her matured body.
It certainly was not an erotic calendar, there was not a darned thing wrong with it, IMO.

Silvas said she would be willing to look for another job over the summer if the school would let her daughter finish kindergarten.
Please pray for this mom and her daughter, folks. She might just be moved by the Holy Spirit to make a change for the better.

Idiot! The stripper mom has been on TV and she looks pretty good and undamaged (so far) by her choice of professions. Yeah, and we all know that you can just tell such things by looking at people, right?

I'd be glad to answer your questions, but I asked first. Be that as it may, I know a lot of lawyers and respect all of them. Maybe I'm just lucky in choosing my friends and associates. If you're ever charged with a crime (and I hope you never will be), try defending yourself. That may change your mind about lawyers. True, there is scum in every profession (even the clergy), but you do yourself no favors when you compare lawyers with strippers. Unless you're 100%FEDUP, that is! HAR!
