You are so right - and I believe the internet has played a great part in informing the sheeple of what the media has been doing all this time. The reason I believe this is because of websites like FOX, Insight, Drudge, Rush Limbaugh, just to name a few. More information has been made available which is truthful - and doesn't agree with the mainstream media. I believe the media is in denial - they have refused to believe the public no longer listens to them; even if their market share has plummeted.

Oh stop it Betty Jo. The evil ones, the ones we need to blame, the ones who ARE to blame, are the Islamists who hate us and have hated us since the 7th century AD. Let us not forget 1979 and the American Embassy in Tehran, or 1983 and the 243 Marines killed in their sleep in Lebanon, or our hostages taken, brutalized, and some killed there throughout the 1980's, TWA flight 840 (?) hijacked from Greece, the first WTC bombing in 1993... The list goes on and on. If I added Islamist terrorist attacks against the West and Israel, too, the list would nearly be endless.

Having spent many proud years serving my country in an Intelligence capacity, I can only tell you that I saw intell brieifings, reports, anaylsis's, summaries, etc on a daily basis, that had any number of possible attacks against us in them. We did what we could to ensure no one would be attacked, but when your enemy (Islamists, not other Americans) can chose the time, place, and method of attack all you can do is react, not act. I would have NEVER, EVER let someone order me to let an attack occur due to an order of some kind. I know there are millions more in the military and FBI, CIA, etc just like me.

With all due respect, you know not of what you speak. Please think about these things I've said to you. I've been there and done it. It is a horrible, evil world out there with bad people who want us to die and suffer. Some are very smart and cunning. All we can do is band together with strong resolve and determination to oppose them.

If I have any criticism of the Bush administration it woul be post, not pre 9/11. We need to deport terror-supporting Islamists now.
