A California public school district is allowing homosexual school employees to "come out" in front of children in school without obtaining parents' permission.

A unanimous resolution allows teachers at the Hayward Unified School District to talk openly about homosexuality or to discuss their homosexual lifestyles with students during class. The district's school board says such action is required under the California Student Safety and Violence Prevention Act of 2000.

How can that be alright? Do the children have the rights to call them fags or lesbos in reply?

Lawsuits for big money might turn this BS around. This is also another good reason to put vouchers again on the ballot.

"Teachers also are allowed to include homosexual figures or role models in class
and to read books with homosexual characters such as "Heather Has Two Mommies."

I could go somewhere with that but for the sake of
taste I shall refrain from doing so. Ick.

This might work out fine. Maybe they'll think it is OK to do this everywhere and when they tell kids about their sexual proclivites at the mall or around the neighborhood, parents will call the cops.

Let them come out and try to force the rebellious "youts" to love them. The more they push themselves on these kids the more the kids will resent them for it. When you become the authority you risk the wrath of those who question and resist authority. In a few years the queers will long for the good old days when being same-sexually experimental was considered chic instead of passe and "so 2002"!

Homosexuals do not reproduce. They recruit.

Even children know better than to play with their own or other's poop. There can be no other reason for a homosexual needing to tell children about his sick, peculiar and dangerous proclavities then to attempt to recruit children into his demented "life-style". Homosexuals won't let up on their recruitment campaign until it becomes mandatory for school children to engage in their insanity.

The age of consent in California is 18. Is this contibuting to the delinquency of minors?

Parents might heed what James Dobson and Laura Schlessinger said about removing kids from these "indoctrination centers." If school authorities keep this up, their classrooms might look empty come September. Summer is a good time to plan your child's educational future.

They don't reproduce, the recruit.

In this case, your children.

Always good to see that people are willing to trade their children's lives for a paycheck.

The young man who shot the priest on the East Coast who molested him, hit him in the HAND and the HIP.  I suspect that the HAND was located near the HIP, covering the GROIN.  There may be worse fury than a "woman scorned" -- It may be a molestee who has become angry.

Skip the vouchers - what this really proves is that parents who put their kids through government schools are guilty of child abuse.

The more I read, the more I thank God for giving me the wisdom to have made the move to homeschool my kids. I could not imagine my kids having to go through this kind of stuff. Every day it is something different.

Homeschooling is the only way to ensure that your kids obtain a LOVE for knowledge, by educating them in a loving, caring environment. My 8 and 14 year-olds WANT to keep learning through the summer months as well -- they've found that their education can be a delightfully fun adventure.

I urge all parents to *really* investigate what it would take for them to arrange their lives so that educating their children at home can be realized. It is an incredible gift to be able to see my teenager as a regular child, with a thirst for knowledge (and not a nose-ringed, punk-haired, foul-mouthed, back-talking, tatooed and arrogant adolescent that picked up his mannerisms from others at school instead of his parents.)

Homeschool, everyone!
