NEW YORK (AP) _ A man squabbling with a woman threw her dog off a 23rd-floor balcony in lower Manhattan on Sunday morning, killing the pet, police said.
John Jefferson, 43, of Brooklyn, was arrested following the domestic dispute, which occurred at 80 N. Moore St., in Tribeca, shortly before 11 a.m., police said.
During the dispute with the woman, whose identity was withheld by police, Jefferson allegedly barricaded himself inside her apartment. Armed with a knife, he began throwing the woman's possessions off the balcony, said Detective Thomas Kuchma, a police spokesman.

I give it 15 posts before the single issue folks come along and say "30000 babies die every day and don't make the news" *OR* the macho nuts who think that it's ok to stick dynamite in a dog's ass because it's just property, no different than a toaster oven.

There was no telephone number listed for him at the address provided by police. Oh, tenants at the gray-bar hotel can't get phone calls? I'm sure the U.N. will have something to say about this!

Yeah, that sounds about right. It'll start with somebody posting, "Who cares if he threw a dog? Ain't no different than tossing her clothes!" We'll see.

n. moore street is about as far as you can get from the "graybar" hotel. interesting they're not releasing the woman's name, there's a good possibility strings were pulled. there are lots of celebs etc. in that area.
To: Sub-Driver
May we please launch him off a 23rd floor balcony now?

It sure wasn't a bird dog, that's for sure.
Seriously though, the sob should have thrown himself off instead.

Not just yet, let the police dogs give him a sex change operation first.......the old fashioned way.
Then throw the sob off the 23rd floor balcony.
