(New York-AP) -- Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton says she thinks a new high school and a research center should be built in lower Manhattan.

She says the projects could help rebuild the area after the terrorist attacks -- and would be part of a ``New York Renaissance.''

Clinton proposes a World Trade Center Research Institute that would promote research in biotechnology and software and information technology. She says the center would also honor the legacy of the twin towers.

Clinton also suggests building a new high school near the trade center site that she says could be called Millennium High School.

Clinton is expected to present her plan to the Real Estate Board of New York this morning

So am I. Its funny you should mention that. I was in Queens this weekend for the first time in about a year and I was in shock to see a HUGE Islamic center pop up on Queens Boulevard ( a main thoroughfare) and another smaller one Islamic center pop up off the entrance to the Long Island Expressway. These things are Huge Centers. I'm sorry but I was absolutely disgusted when I saw these buildings pop up.
