India's Hindu extremist party, the VHP, has asked the government to enforce family planning measures on the Muslim population, saying its rapid increase is "detrimental" to Hindus in the country.
The daily "Asian Age" reported VHP leader Giriraj Kishore as saying that the Muslim population in India, which was merely 35 million in 1951 has increased to 140 million in 2001 a rise of 4 points to 14 percent.
Kishore said the demography of India was "threatened" by such a rapid increase in population adding that the time had come for the government to take steps against this population explosion.

These hindus are on to something-- the rapid increase in Moslem birth rate is part of a plot to overwhelm places like India, western Europe and Israel with a "population bomb". After they fall, we're next. Think about it.
To: knighthawk
Based on the beligerent nature of muslims against majority non-muslim populations any measure which protects non muslim populations is a valid measure.
To: knighthawk
This is misleading.
India's family planning programs have been targetting Hindus, not Muslims. I've never been able to figure out why the Muslims in India weren't targeted by India's family planning programs too.
Maybe the VHP is trying for fairness. You'll not catch a whiff of that in the press, though.

Way to go India. Any Muslims that want families above the allowed limit you boot in to PakiLand. What's good for the Hindu is good for the Muslim.

Government interference in reproduction will lead to forced abortions, and forced sterilization. The only hope the world has is the taming of Muslims by the ideas of western institutions.Like Turkey has done.

Government interference in reproduction will lead to forced abortions, and forced sterilization.India's already tried the 'forced sterilization' route. Back in the 1970's, when Indias Prime Minister Indira Gandhi (the lady who inserted the word 'Socialist' in the preamble of the Indian Constitution, to appease the Soviets) declared a state of Emergency (thus giving herself dictatorial powers), her son (Sanjay) started going around with his band of thugs forcibly sterilizing poor young men from the slums (Hindus and Muslims). Indira didn't do anything to stop him, so it was percieved that she supported him and the resentment that was created by this caused her to lose the elections she called after she lifted the state of Emergency.
Needless to say, no one ever tried that again.

the VHP, has asked the government to enforce family planning measures on the Muslim populationObviously, I haven't seen the actual Hindi text of what Kishore said so I don't know how accurate this translation is. Havign said that, assuming the above italicized statement is accurate, it would seem the VHP wants to "enforce" family planning on the Muslims.. not just market it (which is what the Indian govt does to the Hindus) but "enforce" it.

Oh my..
Just expel them.. Don't start deciding who can breed and who is not allowed.
That sounds like a line straight from the thrid reich.
Denounce them and their child molesting prophet as a risk to security and expel them.

But it does continue in China where they do not have the option of an election.

Why bother. They send every other one out to blow themselves up the minute they hit puberty.
