Good question. But the RNC seems to mbe making plans for 2004 on that front. It's probably asking too much to expect them to roll in 2002, but it will still be interesting to see what happens.

I think the GOP makes gains in the House, and the Senate will have a big switch.

Looks like GWB won by a larger margin than we all thought...look at this question's results

Hey, if I had voted for the goreoff in 2000 and you asked me today who I voted for, I'd be so ashamed I might lie and say Dubya.

While I don't doubt some fraud in the 2000 elections, I think this really shows that some poll respondents (gasp) lie!

This polling group had a great record for accuracy in polling until the Nov. Presidential elections.

It could well be their sample, lies, an error or a glitch.

I found it interesting that only Zogby forecast what happened in November 2002, and he was very accurate in states with very high levels of apparent voter fraud, like polls not closing on time.

UpChuck may have the answer right here:

Which candidate for President of the United States did you vote for?
George W. Bush.......................................................51%
Al Gore.....................................................................39%

If this is indeed the orientation of poll respondents, then the Republican optimism seen in the results is likely skewed and may not represent actual population views.

Yes, he was VERY accurate, asn't he? Had that brother working for Gore as well. I think, as you know, Zogby was in cahoots with the Gore to provide cover for the vote fraud.

I see this more like Rats saying "I voted for GWB but I'm much smarter now."

The amount of fraud reported was large. In places they had over 100% of registered voters that voted. Not to mention, dead and dog voters or those folks that voted in NY and FL! And then in some States they don't count absentee ballots if they don't influence the outcome of the election -- not sure anyone knows how many absentee ballots were never counted.

Found out about the absentee ballots from several sources -- one of those being the Oklahoma Elections Commission who told me that OK is one of the few states where all ballots are required to be counted whether it influences the outcome or not.

Then you always have those folks that don't want to admit they stayed home or voted for someone else.

All in all, I think this speaks volumes.

Hadn't heard that. Is there any substantiation?

Philly, the city of brotherly love and illegal voters had several districts with over 100% voting rates.

In St Louis, LA and San Francisco, the polls were kept open hours after closing time to allow the street people and the dark side voting cults time to vote and then vote again.

The rat snow birders voting by absentee ballot in NYC for Goron and the Hilldebeast and then in person in Floriduh.

Bus loads of illegal aliens transported from area to area to vote in Kali..

I can believe in this poll and what they published hours before the massive voter fraud across the country.

No, that is simply my theory which I discussed with Dales right after the election. Here is what happened:

Zogby changed his days of taking polls to different days than all the other polls (no way to cross check). He then started reporting a slight "Gore surge." Then the DUI thing came out (Chris Lehane's sister was in on that.) Zogby's brother worked for the Gore campaign. The DUI story and Zogby's fake surge gave cover to the vote fraud. Zogby was the ONLY one who predicted Gore doing so well.

It is only a theory, but I think it makes sense. If I had proof, I would go to the DOJ, pronto. Every once in a while I bring this theory up just in case someone is reading who knows something. Hope springs eternal, you know. :-)

While there are a few things that are troublesome for Republicans in general, overall this poll shows that George W. Bush in particular, and Republicans generally, are more in line with the feelings and values of the American people. We win on the economic issues, and Bush is beating the Dems by 11 pts on education, which is an important issue.

Everyone should read the Democrat analysis (as well as the Republican). There's interesting crosstabs in the Democrat analysis on where the Democrats power voter base is compared to the Republicans. How can we be losing MOMS -- but be winning WORKING MOMS. That means the stay-at-home moms are going Dem ... and that doesn't make sense to me, but maybe someone else has a spin on it after reviewing the data.

The key is TURNING OUT OUR CONSTITUENCY. Know our voters, expand on them, and get them out to the polls.

I heard the same thing -- which is why Zogby changed his numbers the last week to coincide with the numbers from the RATS.

Thanks for returning the nicer Sabertooth!

You are so right! The fraud was massive and is why Battleground Poll was so flawed from the outcome!

Hmm...

It sounds more like Zogby was cued in on the DUI smear. The fact is, the Dems had a trifecta planned (depress the Christian Right vote, smear Bush, and vote fraud), and they almost pulled it off.

The problem was, they found out about the guy doing the smearing too soon, and that disgusted enough swing voters that Bush held on to win by a nose in Florida.

It has pretty much been proven by some of the people studying the fraud of this last election against Zogby's odd poll numbers that differed with everyone else.

Battleground just doesn't make mistakes like that but then who would have thought 110% would vote in some precincts either.

Zogby has never been able to defend them either because no one else picked up on such a large shift. They tried to blame it on the Dui that was brought out but that didn't track in exit polling. They were doing everything possible to give themselves cover. And Zogby was right there!

Miss Marple posted re the surprising accuracy of J. Zogby:

I didn't realize that you had come to the same conclusion that I had re the Zogby final polls and the "surprising" Goron numbers.

24 hours after the election, to me it was obvious that Zogby had provided cover to "legitimatize" the Goron's voter fraud numbers.

I had them remove me from their special Zogby email list. He had gotten very squirrely with his polls and was getting a lot flack from conservatives.

His pro Islamic terrorist brother worked for Goron and now is a major liar er mouth piece for the Islamics who would kill all of us.
