The administration is seeking blanket immunity from the U.N. Security Council for Americans serving in U.N.-approved peacekeeping missions.

Why are we groveling for their “immunity”? We are Americans. We are a sovereign nation! We are ALREADY immune from their stupid little international court!

In fact, I think that the ONLY reason for inventing this court was to establish some jurisdiction over some Americans, somewhere. They’ll be willing to wait a generation or two for Americans to accept this jurisdiction as “normal,” before ratcheting up the amount control they have over us. The intentions of the Internationalists are quite obvious.

Yo coop, check it out. We have a full fledged meltdown in progress.

Hey! I was just thinking I hadn't seen much of you lately. Glad to hear from you. I only checked out the past two dozen or so posts, but it was enough for me to smile. It takes all kinds. I just wish this particular person didn't try to ascribe his/her views with Christianity in the screen name. C'est la vie.

Yo, DD, if you don't know what someone is talking about, it might be a good idea to actually find out BEFORE opening your pie hole.

Today's CNN poll question: Should U.S. personnel be granted immunity from prosecution by the International Criminal Court? (right side, about halfway down page)

But Bush said he would not drop his opposition to the International Criminal Court.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
