U.S. intelligence agencies are watching several groups of Middle Eastern men thought to be part of an infrastructure of as many as 5,000 al Qaeda terrorists and their supporters in the United States, The Washington Times has learned.

Small groups of about a half-dozen men in Seattle, Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta are under surveillance by FBI and other intelligence agencies and are thought to be part of Osama bin Laden's terrorist network, said intelligence officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

You are photographed at road crossings. And I bet that there are enough security cameras in airports to get excellent pictures of everyone who looks like they've been to a strip club with Mohammed Atta and were flying on 9/11. One hopes these people have been dealt with on the QT and are being "interviewed" in some other country now.

The problem is that the sheer volume of images may never get reviewed until after the fact.
The value of doing it at arriving customs is that regardless of the volume (it's got to be a lot less than random security cameras) will ensure that it is feasible to review all images and isolate the "questionable" ones.

Seems to me that national security would make this an essential move.

There is no presumption of innocence in visa cases. Illegals are a slam-dunk, and valid visas should be revoked if there is any hint of Moslem radicalism in the visa holder.

I am very upset at the extra-legal manner in which Padilla is being treated.

But what you have written, above, is quite accurate and just.

These rats will commence hitting us like they do the Israelis. Small cafes, buses, car bombs detonated close to malls and other pedestrian walkways.

The new agency for homeland security is ridiculous. The Department of DEFENSE should be adequate and the ATF and FEMA should be abolished with all of the multitudinous staffers given walking papers.

It almost appears conspiratorial with all these muslims wandering around the United States when they more properly belong in chains on their way out. Kick every damned one out and never let another one in.

"Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said some of the al Qaeda terrorists who were using Afghanistan as a base have fled to the United States, as well as to other countries. They clearly have moved some to the United States..."

Isn't it simply a stunning tragedy that America ever allowed this to occur post-911? Imagine that... Thousands perish on 911. We are at war with the Islamic extremists. Yet our dopey liberalized institutions continue to keep our borders wide open. I am getting a bit livid over all the PC crap. No freakin' Islamic extremists that fit the terrorist profile should be allowed in -- and I don't give a flying sh_t if they are Saudis. It better stop - NOW! In a related vein, I saw an elderly American woman on tv last evening was was frisked and searched and forced to pull her pants and underwear down at the airport! Un-freakin'-believable.

From the article, " FBI and Immigration and Naturalization Service agents have raided 75 jewelry stores and mall kiosks as part of the money-laundering probe.
About a dozen men, mainly Pakistani nationals, are in custody from the operation, which was carried out late last month."

The jewelry stores owned by the friends of al Qaeda are huge money laundering and cash raising al Qaeda ATM's for their terrorists in America.

al Qaeda terrorism requires large amounts of cash for the actual terrorists to stay here, live here and to plan their next terrorist attack on America.

Whack those jewelry stores and Kiosks, and the al Qaeda terrorists need to find another ATM. That is really dangerous and ineffective post 9/11.

Thanks for the ping!

Miss Marple in her usual wisdom that is often ahead of the rest of us posted:

I still say that there are connections to the envirals, anarchists, and gangs. I personally think that 501c3 organizations should have to release their donor lists.

I personally believe that if and when we find out to whom the Opecker Princes and the al Qeada thugs have been donating to since the days of Jimmy Carter, America will have a huge wake up call. It will not be just the left wing non profits but some of the so called conservative non profits.

Most of them were here before 9/11. Most came during the Jake Reno days of looking at White Christian Males who legally owned guns as potential terrorists.

"It depends on how you define an al Qaeda member," the official said. "There are hardened members and Muslims with sympathies to bin Laden."

So which category does the LAX El-Al shooter fall into?

How many Trojan Horse Muslims in the USA who are NOT "card carrying" members of Al Qaeda are still only one tick away from exploding?

Radical Islam is an insane murder cult, and "moderate" Islam is its Trojan Horse in the West.

Small groups of about a half-dozen men in Seattle, Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta are under surveillance by FBI and other intelligence agencies and are thought to be part of Osama bin Laden's terrorist network, said intelligence officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. In one case, five men of Middle Eastern origin rented rooms in Seattle and conducted activities that officials would not specify but called unusual.

Okay folks what presidential candidate carried these havens for Islamakazis?

What party do the mayosr of these cities belong to?

Has the PC police departments and DA's in these left wing cities helped in these investigations.

How many of these rat infested Goron cities have a left wing pro Congressit like McKinley of Atlanta?

How many of the senators from the states where these cities have left wing senators who vote for the PC way of handling crime, ignoring it?

How many of these city's newspapers are maggot infested liberal fishwraps?

How many of the tv stations in these cities push the left wing agenda that only conservativews are evil and bad?

How many of the city councils in these cities are black muslims, left wing socialists or communists who hate America on a 24/7 basis.

So if you were IslamaKazis here in America to raise money for terrorism and then use that money to fund terrorism, wouldn't you come to Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta or Detroit for safety and comfort provided by the left wingers who control these cities?

Eyes, ears, intuition all on high alert! The big questions is "Will we follow through on what we see, hear or think?"

Probably, quite a few. Our leaders and alphabet agencies are dancing around this issue.
