Solution is have police respond with all fire trucks in that area. I live in a rural county and Halloween night or Halloween week a handfull of hillbillies make sport of starting fires, calling the volunteer fire department, and egging or rocking their trucks and the responding firemen. They also cut trees down across the road behind and in front of the trucks as well as deputies responding. During this time they are often escorted by several armed deputies on calls to that some what remote area.

Don't put out fires there.

Washington DC is a toilet bowl.
Within sight of the capital dome is an area that is as lawless as Somalia.
If the rest of the country could see how DC has been run into the ground it would be outraged.
The Mayor smoked crack with whores and was reeelected anyway.

What's new? These inner city idiots hate cops and have now targeted firefighters as well. And people wonder why most inner cities are dangerous and crime ridden? Let them kill each other off and let their homes burn to the ground as well.

I think a lot of people know how bad DC has become. I remember a few weeks ago there was a news report on a new tourist ad campaign for Washington DC that even included Laura Bush. People might go to Washington DC to see the historic sights, but that's about it. I've heard that if you ever want to visit Washington DC's tourist sights, to visit them in the daytime and to make hotel accommodations in Va.

I was there over Christmas, stayed at the Best Western a few blocks from the Capital.
I grew up in Bedford Stuyvesant in NYC and this was 50 times worse. Not a cop in sight and the thugs control the streets.

DC truly is one of the worst motherf**king places on earth.
I went there on a band trip many years ago and we watched from our hotel room (and this hotel was not in a "bad" part of town, it was very nice) as two "African-American gentlemen" beat the bejesus out of another "African-American gentleman", threw him in a dumpster, and then SET THE DUMPSTER ON FIRE.
That was the beginning of my political awakening, come to think of it. No one should ever, ever visit DC. It's like visiting the Death Star, complete with the "trash compactor" part.

No one should ever, ever visit DC. It's like visiting the Death Star, complete with the "trash compactor" part. I was stationed there a few years ago. I had a death wish one night and went bar-hopping wearing my Cowboys jacket. Since angels protect fools and Cowboys fans in Georgetown, I wasn't hurt.

If there's any good people left in that area, they should get them out and then just put up a big fence and let the rest just do what they will. If they ever want civilization again they would have to prove it.
