Something's not right here. 20 years in study/research. Senator Reid's non-action other than receiving millions of dollars for UNLV. Jeffords switch giving the Senate to the Dems and Reid moving to 3rd man of the Dems majority. How was this vote brought at this time and not previously considering the democrats control what comes to the floor for a vote?

To add insult to injury millions will be spent fighting transport and storage and Nevada citizens having to bend over and take it without any compensation.

Reid has helped every other state except Nevada.

How was this vote brought at this time and not previously considering the democrats control what comes to the floor for a vote?

The enabling act which set up the whole mechanism for a Nevada veto which could be overturned by Congress mandated that it had to be brought to the floor at that time.
