Kennedy - Murdering gun grabber

That's going overboard a bit....um, let me rephrase that.......

Interesting point, though. If this is an anti-crime measure, then what is a guy with a manslaughter on his record doing on that side of the issue?

And that's not counting the rapist and the murderer in his extended family.

LOL, here's one for you. The site our office building is on, is being relandscaped for additional buildings. Currently there is a huge pit, 10' x 20' in a sea of red clay outside our office windows. It's marked off with yellow warning tape like a crime scene.

After some heavy storms, the pit filled with water. People were joking around and calling it a watery grave, etc.

Someone asked, "I wonder what's in there?".

I replied, "Teddy Kennedy's Oldsmobile!".

Sadly, no one under 30 knew what I was talking about. I quickly recounted the story of Mary Jo Kopechne and I swear that some didn't believe me.

Even worse, some old enough to remember, admonished me for rehashing old news. (d@mn libs)

Oh, but that's *good*! You're reminding them that their precious leftist fatboy icon's crimes have NOT been forgotten - and they don't like it!!!

I respect your view on the matter, but when FSTI claims to teach the Israeli method subgun instruction, their "long range" rifle 1 course takes you out to only a pathetic 200 yards, the long range rifle 2 course takes you out to 400 yards only, and you have to attend a seminar on the property sales at the place... that might be fine for you, but I'll pass thank you. I also have no desire to pay however many hundreds of dollars it takes to become one of the "family" there. Reminds me a great deal of how Amway is run.

I guess I prefer true tactical training over a sales pitch. It's a good idea if that is what you want, but I wouldn't stake my life on the information learned there. While I personally haven't been to Front Sight and I have no plans on attending, I do know some professional operators who have attended and their critiques weren't very kind. If you want true tactical training, I suggest you check out Storm Mountain Training Center. There, Long Range Rifle 1 will take you out beyond 700 yards, Long Range Rifle 2 goes beyond 1000. SMTC also offers true sniper instruction courses. The handgun classes are geared towards surviving a real gun fight and the stress put on you in the advanced classes is more intense than what you will get anywhere else.

Check out the Storm Mountain website. You will be impressed. If you think you got good at Front Sight, take the handgun classes at Storm Mountain. Your shooting will improve 10 fold both in speed and accuracy.

Forgot... FSTI claims to teach the Israeli method, they don't.
