Apparantly he wasn't as sorry as he claimed. I see he went on to repost all the same info over at LP.

What a swell thing to do. He was right the first time, no excuse.

And Reg was never banned from FR. He was suspended for a week and his account was reactivated a couple of days ago.

He probably should not have reposted that stuff on LP. From looking at it just now I see that he posted it within the past few hours. No doubt in response to the goings on within this thread (which he in fact said). He was prepared to appologize, admit he was wrong and let it drop until this thread came along.

re post 534; You think oldvike "proved his point", eh?

Let the offender make it right in the same way he (supposedly) admitted it was wrong. Publicly on a thread to the offended on FR.

It would be the christian thing to do. "The circle of confession should be as large as the circle of offense".

May as well include the graphics he has done of others, as well.

And no, he did not "make his point". He pasted a post (with no link?) that not only could be on another topic, but he (Registered) has posted enough other info to support and defend his "reason" for doing what he did that this is only another attempt by you guys to get back in the good graces of conservatives on FR.

You guys are sad.

So now a "thread" controls his life and the decisions he makes?

Backbone of a worm, IMO.

You guys are sad.

Yes I am. Sad that people like you make it your life's mission to tear down others. Very sad indeed.

re post 534; You think oldvike "proved his point", eh?

Yes, he did. oldvike claimed that Registered admitted he was wrong. He proved his claim. But all you could do was qualify yours. You gonna parse "is" next?

You guys are sad.

Well, sad has two basic definitions. Sad can mean sorrowful, and, under that definition, I am sad that a person like Registered, who has added so much levity to this website, got caught up in an overly-heated debate and was first sent to the cooler and now hesitates to come back. Now, sad also can mean pathetic. I consider it pathetic when someone cannot concede a point made by the other party. Does that describe oldvike and myself? Or you?

Yeah, that's why Twodees started this mess.
Poor registered.

There's been plenty of "tearing down of others" by people on both sides of this argument.

Shut up.

I guess this is another example of your stunning maturity that I should try to emulate, right? LOL.

i didn't lie, teri. if you go back and look at my post i said "i don't think...."

this is all i saw from reg. others were asking him what happened and he admitted that he was wrong in posting what he posted. i obviously did not see the posts you are referencing.

at the least, i am mistaken. i wouldn't come on here and lie about something that could easily be proven. next time, i won't be so quick to defend someone. btw, this is on libertypost, correct?

There's been plenty of "tearing down of others" by people on both sides of this argument.

And it's time to stop tearing down and start building. Folks on both sides of the Bush debate need to start listening to each other more, instead of being poised like trap-door spiders to jump on the words of the other side. Could Bush be more conservative? Heck, yes. But politically, CAN Bush be more conservative? That is the crux of the matter. To change that latter question in turn to heck, yes, we need to mint more conservatives. So we have this wonderful website, FR, that has exposed many people to conservative values. And then we have a thread like this one, with all the appeal to the non-FR world as a skunk in a Buick, and then we wonder why there are not more conservatives? Not too many people care to join a club where they eat their own...

I agree, although I don't consider FR a "club".

But it is nice these cannibals have moved to LP, isn't it? :)
