Boonie Rat
MACV SOCOM, PhuBai/Hue '65-'66
To: TightSqueeze
Shouldn't that be "Salomon Barney Frank?"
To: TightSqueeze
Nice chart, but it must have been made by a lefty: front and center mention of Gramm but Little Robbie Rubin is nowhere to be found...

And where's commie Corzine? He was up to his a$$ in the Long Term Capital debacle as well.

Nor is Liberman and Dodd, two of the major players in giving a free hand to accounting firms. Nor is Terry McCauliffe (sp?) and his Hillary-like luck at Global Crossing. Nor is Tom Daschle's wife. Nor does it contribute any of California's energy crisis to Davis and his cohorts! This chart was designed by a demon-cratic hack.
BTW, Merck did nothing wrong. The tabloid media (which, incidently, is dominated by the NYT) made another false claim in the heat of the accounting scandal hysteria. Merck did, in fact, count the 12.4 billion as revenues, but offset an equal amount (e.g., 12.4 billion) as expenses on the balance sheet. It was a perfectly legit, traditional, accounting practice.

So I should maintain my short on the NASDAQ 100...right?
