Did the fricking sharks happen to have laser beams on their heads?

Oh ma gosh, what a rush. They have a glass plate, a circle in the floor you can stand on and look right down into the sharks at that aquarium. I wouldn't let my son stand on it because I'm so over protective.
I would have had to learn to fly real quick if I took a sudden dunk in that huge tank.

This is right out of my worst nightmare, I'm not afraid of much but the shark is at top of that list.

tsk tsk, you forgot to put "laser" in quotes. hehe

I once had a "close" encounter with a 10-12 ft. Tiger shark on a night dive. I don't think my adrenalin has ever been pumped that high since...

The aquarium knew this but wanted the extra dollars generated from the private after hours tours. Yes. The aquarium was being shellfish...

Staffers at the aquarium are trained to deal with emergencies like this one, Lee said, and reacted quickly to the chaotic scene, pulling people from the waters using nearby flotation devices. "They knew exactly what to do and they did it," she said.
Thank goodness for their emergency training. I never would have thought of tossing in some life preservers.

No sh*t! I've never seen one on any of my dives, and I hope that I never do. On my list of bad-a$$ sharks the Great White and Tiger are #1 and 1-A. Pick-'em! Friends of mine saw a 12 ft. Great White of North Carolina late last summer. Very rare for those waters.
They had just completed their second and last dive of the day and were back aboard when he showed up at the trace line float. 2 divers were still down on the wreck and weren't due back for another 10 minutes. The dive boat captain elected to drop a spear gun and message slate down the anchor line in the hopes that they would come up armed when their dive concluded. Fortunately, the big fella decided to checkout the other diveboat (tied up at the other end of the wreck); he was gone just long enough for the divers to surface & re-board the boat. Frankly, I think the spear gun would have just p*ssed him off!
My friends got some good video of the shark passing close along side the dive boat. When they got home, my buddy immediately went out and purchased a 44-mag "bang stick."

At least there were no piranha, Captain, like the time when Fred was on the water skis and fell.
Snow Bunny and I had a heck of a time 'tending' to the result.
Lucky we had Spam on hand to fashion into a ...well...you know...

We are members of the Aquarium and I think this wasn't a private tour exactly. It was members night where the Aquarium is open only to members. We are members of the Audubon Zoo and they do this as well. I'm glad we skipped members night, though. I've been feeling sick thinking about us on that platform with our two-year-old twins.
It's not good to think about.

Definitely! I saw him for the FIRST time way back when Margaritaville was the just released. He was touring with the Eagles--what a concert! Too bad my parents had to take me--I was a just barely a teenager then. I've seen him many times since then--he was here at Jazzfest this year.
We find out today if our offer on a 37" Irwin sailboat is going to be accepted. Any freeper sailors out there?

My apologies....madam
I searched "shark", and it didn't/doesn't show up.
