Wife Forgets To Turn Cell Phone Off, Cops Get Earful
Woman Accused Of Stabbing Husband In Chest
POSTED: 8:47 a.m. EDT August 13, 2002
BUTLER, Pa. -- Her cell phone may end up doing her in. A Pennsylvania woman will stand trial this week on charges she stabbed her husband in the chest -- and then tried to make up a story to hide the assault.
But local emergency dispatchers say they heard Linda Glenn attempt to concoct the tale. It turns out that after she called them for help -- she forgot to turn off her cell phone.
So the dispatchers say they listened as Glenn told her husband she was afraid she'd go to jail for murder if he died. The couple is then heard discussing a story to cover up the crime.
Richard Glenn survived the May stabbing. His wife faces attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges.

Such tender concern.
"Honey, please don't die.... yet. First you have to help me make up a story so I don't go to jail for your murder."

LOL.....I would love to hear the husband's part of this conversation.

What a supplicating wuss this man is.
His wife tries to kill him, and he's helping her concoct a lie that is designed to make her look innocent. I can almost say he deserved it.

She's probably trying to get in touch with Lorainna Bobbit's lawyer as we speak.

This is just more fuel for the "shouldn't drive and talk on a cell phone" crowd.......next thing you know they are gonna want a ban against stabbing your husband while using a cell phone.....

Hen pecking gone horribly astray???? For only $19.95, you, too, can get a copy of the latest entertainment video, "When Hen-peckers Go Wild!"

No, they will never ban cell phones. maybe a 3 day waiting period.
Special government controlled recharging stations
and of course stricter licensing requirements.
Maybe they should ban marriage instead.

I'm surprised her atty hasn't gotten her conversation suppressed because--911 didn't read her Miranda, or--they were invading her 'privacy', or--taping her stupidity without her informed consent.
