Might be a good idea if people think about how to publicize her book. I'm sure she has a tour coming up. Can't hurt to be in touch with her if you have a club or event, although I imagine it would have to be pretty big to make it worth her while.

Has anyone bothered to ask her if she enjoys her present job sufficently before volunteering her for the post? ;)

She can always pull a Sherman but if we wait around for volunteers they will have someone else pick and on the job before we get organized. Think of it more as a draft. :^)

But I do know that she has at least one young child. Being a columnist is something you can do from home. This job is not.
