Not true. This type of gun was used by jackbooted thug and perjurer Lon Horiuchi to murder Vicki Weaver, and probably some Branch Davidians as well.

By that I meant has a PSG-1 been used to knock over a liquor store? DUH. So because some FED uses a PSG-1 to murder a citizen its okay to ban them?
Sure ... ban them from feds. Notice that machine guns, silencers, and short-barreled shotguns and rifles are banned by 1934 NFA "because they are the weapons of choice of gangsters" from the Prohibition era. Their ban remains in effect, allegedly for the same reason. But they are hardly ever used in crimes. Instead, they are the weapons of choice for JBTs to kill citizens with, at Ruby Ridge, Waco, countless wrong-address no-knock raids, and of course for FBI agents to shoot unarmed eagle scouts in the face with. What's good for the goose is good for the gander ... disarm the feds. Give them no special rights that citizens don't have.
Okay!!!! That has ALWAYS been my contention! If the government has it, then the PEOPLE must have it too....but in greater numbers!
Sorry for my momentary lapse into stupidity...I misunderstood you.
It seems that they think it is an individual right, but the government can do anything it wants to restrict it. They've yet to mention any specific law they actually believe rins afoul of this 'individual constitutional right'. That I've heard of. Have I missed anything?
As usual, all words and no action from the bush administration.
Yeah, I know, a minor nit, but I couldn't help myself. Otherwise, you are right on here.
Simply search for 'Emerson' in the general topics at FR.
I think that if you have to ask the question, you already know the answer. :-)
In 2004, without a shadow of a doubt, Bush will encourage the passage and sign the permanent continuation of the 1994 Assault Weapons ban.
You, no doubt, will continue to sing Bush's praises for a job well done.
If sneakypete is of the "lowest social class", then I aspire to reach the "lowest social class", since sneakypete has served in nearly every military conflict since Vietnam, in the US Army Special Forces, as either a combatant or a miltary advisor. He's commanded many OPFOR forces in wargames meant to teach our young men how to succeed and not die in the battlefield. He has done more to preserve American freedom than nearly anyone on this forum, and I am proud to call him friend.
You should thank your stars that sneakypete and men like him have fought and died to protect you from nations that mean us harm, instead of denigrating him.
Oh, okay.
You are a stone-cold gun-grabber.
Gotchya.
Yea. Sure, laz. I have all the guns I need, but not all the guns I want.
Then tell me how you possibly aspire to the moniker of Second Amendment Defender, when you cavalierly and casually shrug off the import ban on outstanding competition rifles and cheap, quality ammunition.
