With the shooting down of a very qualified judge named Priscilla Owens, the party of the RATS had taken partisanship to a new level of low. How did we get here?
The answer is very clear -- we got here because of William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, impreached former president.
Like many of you, I used to have Democratic friends. We got along. We were able to have civil arguments. Clinton changed all that. I only have few left, and they really don't have my respect.
Some of us saw it coming fairly early, but it really crystalized after the OKC bombing. Clinton was being called almost irrelevant, even by some in the major news media. After OKC, however, he blatantly seized on a cynical plan to divide us even further. He and his evil wife created the so-called Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
The Clintons forced people to choose sides. You had to stay with him no matter what or the dreaded right wing would do awful things to this country. They would starve children. They would throw old people in the street where they would be forced to eat dog food. They would poison the air and water. They would end Social Security.
The RATS dug in their heels and stood by him no matter what. They excused perjury. They excused taking 900K from Bernie Scwartz who escaped being indicted for selling our missile technology. They excused subornation of perjury. They excused creating a hostile work environment in which sexual favors were rewarded. They excused hiding documents under subpoena. They accepted a dead body and a raid on his office to remove documents.
And they accepted sexual assault. Yes, they accepted the rape of Juanita Broaddrick. They would listen to nothing because they already had too much invested. They couldn't turn back. It is like a kid who starts lying and the lie gets more and more complicated and serious. He just can't tell the truth and let the whole thing unravel.
Who was to blame? It was the dreaded right wing. If we got Clinton, there is no telling what we would do.
Well, Clinton made it through 8 long, long, excruciating painful years. He got to keep his job and he paid only a small price. He was disbarred and fined. So what. He makes millions on speeches.
If Clinton actually cared about this country, he would do something to end the partisan hatred that is like nothing modern America has ever seen.
If Clinton had any character left, he would admit what he has done. Among other things, he would offer an apology to Juanita Broaddrick for brutally raping her and he would seek serious psychiatric help. His RAT minions would certainly forgive him because, after all, he was sick and it wasn't his fault.
What the admission would do is end some of the bitterness and some of the partisanship. The RATS could no longer keep putting out the lies that the VRWC was out to get their guy. McAuliffe would try to spin it, but after the admission he would finally be thrown out into the street.
Americans everywhere would realize that the political hatred was caused by Clinton. It would mean a generation of bad times for the RAT party. And there is the rub. Clinton can never admit the truth because his pals would lose power. They would be unable to sustain the lies. They would be unable the demonize the right wing.
Maybe on his deathbed Clinton will have a change of heart. Maybe he will admit what he did to Eileen Wellstone, to the young woman at Yale, to the unnamed woman during his first term as Governor, to Paula Jones, to Kathleen Willey, and to Juanita Broaddrick. Maybe he will ask God and the victims for forgiveness.
Maybe pigs will fly.
Hmmmm...I was not aware NBC had "canned" this tape. I suppose they own the rights to it...so it has not been seen or repeated since? Interesting.
Maybe someone can fill us in on this question: I heard Mrs. Broaddrick said there was a lot more to that interview than what NBC broadcast...a lot more. She said she trusted Lisa Meyers then and gave her answers to many questions that were never been broadcasted.
Anyone know anything about this?
Blindness, rationalization, stupidity can all bring down a nation but they are not "mortal sins."
The German voters who supported Hitler have mortal sins on their souls as he committed mass murder with their consent, purposely blind or not. Millions may eventually die due to treason and dereliction of duty by Clinton, but at this point in time he is not guilty of genocide.
But many people just can't get it in their heads that there are evil people and sociopaths like Clinton in this world and they constitutionally can't absorb evidence that proves this about him. They can't get passed the sheep's clothing, like the jurors in the Hatfield rape and murder trial for Danielle van Dam evidentally had trouble doing.
The liberals you no longer talk to are people who think people like you are evil and people like Clinton aren't, because they define evil by what political positions you take as revealed by the New York Times, not by an indelible code of right and wrong, good and evil, as revealed to us by God.

Bill Clinton is a sociopath. He has no conscience and therefore cannot accept Christ. Therefore, when he had Rev. Jesse Jackson into the White House, and carried his Bible to church and talked about repentence after Lewinsky hit the news, I knew, being a medical doctor, that it was all a sham.
Sociopaths mimic human moral behavior as they are not capable of exhibiting it naturally. I do not claim to know how Christ will handle such people at the Judgment.
Yet Hillary may out-traingulate him in the end. Just desserts?

Doesn't it bother you in the least that everyone.....to a man and to a woman........who interviewed Juanita about this (or especially her friends who saw her immediately after the attack(s)) will vouch for her credibility as a person and as a witness? That every detail of her story that can be verified after the years has, in fact, been verified?
It's people like you that Doug is talking about in his piece here. You're either incredibly stupid, amoral, or blind........and neither speaks well for you.

The idea that Tickle me Pank is banned for what happened on this thread is upsetting. While I disagreed with him/hers opinion and non-wavering attitude, he/she brought out the best arguments from the other posters. The repetion of these arguments help to reinforce and remind us all of the depraved sociopath that we had in the White House.
While I don't know any possible extenuating circumstances, the quick view of this instance of banishment is troubling.
Juanita was the one who asked NBC not to show it again. Keep in mind, everyone, that Juanita never wanted to come forward with this story. It was horrific and she didn't want to open old wounds. Afterwards, there was great relief that it was finally exposed. She had regrets for not telling it sooner because it might have prevented the grief endured by Kathleen Willey.
