IF BILL CLINTON ADMITTED RAPING JUANITA BROADDRICK, HE COULD END THE PARTISAN HATRED

With the shooting down of a very qualified judge named Priscilla Owens, the party of the RATS had taken partisanship to a new level of low. How did we get here?

The answer is very clear -- we got here because of William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, impreached former president.

Like many of you, I used to have Democratic friends. We got along. We were able to have civil arguments. Clinton changed all that. I only have few left, and they really don't have my respect.

Some of us saw it coming fairly early, but it really crystalized after the OKC bombing. Clinton was being called almost irrelevant, even by some in the major news media. After OKC, however, he blatantly seized on a cynical plan to divide us even further. He and his evil wife created the so-called Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

The Clintons forced people to choose sides. You had to stay with him no matter what or the dreaded right wing would do awful things to this country. They would starve children. They would throw old people in the street where they would be forced to eat dog food. They would poison the air and water. They would end Social Security.

The RATS dug in their heels and stood by him no matter what. They excused perjury. They excused taking 900K from Bernie Scwartz who escaped being indicted for selling our missile technology. They excused subornation of perjury. They excused creating a hostile work environment in which sexual favors were rewarded. They excused hiding documents under subpoena. They accepted a dead body and a raid on his office to remove documents.

And they accepted sexual assault. Yes, they accepted the rape of Juanita Broaddrick. They would listen to nothing because they already had too much invested. They couldn't turn back. It is like a kid who starts lying and the lie gets more and more complicated and serious. He just can't tell the truth and let the whole thing unravel.

Who was to blame? It was the dreaded right wing. If we got Clinton, there is no telling what we would do.

Well, Clinton made it through 8 long, long, excruciating painful years. He got to keep his job and he paid only a small price. He was disbarred and fined. So what. He makes millions on speeches.

If Clinton actually cared about this country, he would do something to end the partisan hatred that is like nothing modern America has ever seen.

If Clinton had any character left, he would admit what he has done. Among other things, he would offer an apology to Juanita Broaddrick for brutally raping her and he would seek serious psychiatric help. His RAT minions would certainly forgive him because, after all, he was sick and it wasn't his fault.

What the admission would do is end some of the bitterness and some of the partisanship. The RATS could no longer keep putting out the lies that the VRWC was out to get their guy. McAuliffe would try to spin it, but after the admission he would finally be thrown out into the street.

Americans everywhere would realize that the political hatred was caused by Clinton. It would mean a generation of bad times for the RAT party. And there is the rub. Clinton can never admit the truth because his pals would lose power. They would be unable to sustain the lies. They would be unable the demonize the right wing.

Maybe on his deathbed Clinton will have a change of heart. Maybe he will admit what he did to Eileen Wellstone, to the young woman at Yale, to the unnamed woman during his first term as Governor, to Paula Jones, to Kathleen Willey, and to Juanita Broaddrick. Maybe he will ask God and the victims for forgiveness.

Maybe pigs will fly.

Some foolish people have no conception of what it must have been like to be Juanita in that room. Of course nothing would have happened. Would anyone believe her over the slick AG?

I respectfully disagree. He needs a venereal disease that slowly eats away at his body and brain.

He's been banned? I don't know that I would have done that. It would be more fun to keep mocking him for stupidity.

Geez, you've been banned. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Well, I don't like to kick a stupid guy when he's down, so I'll leave off spanking Pank.

Oh, BTW, Pank - that stuff about the Texas attorney general? I wanna party with you, cowboy. ;-)

Just because Clinton was a philanderer does not mean that he would be more inclined to rape someone. You would be surprised by the number of rapists and molesters who lead a life of fidelity.

==============================================

Bizarre statement. How can anyone who is raping and molesting be leading a life of fidelity?

Clinton was more inclined to rape Juanita because he is a psychopath. He did it at Oxford and was kicked out of the country. He did it at Yale. He did it during his first term as Governor. He assaulted Kathleen Willey in the White House. He is a total scumbag who used his power to have women serve as his semen receptacles.

Doug,

Very interesting thread you started...

I must admit that I have considered this a "dead issue." At least politically. When the rape allegations first surfaced, I thought to myself, "Well, the American people will finally wake up!"

But they did not. People on this thread haves stated (correctly) that many Americans do not know who Juanita Broaddrick is. I can point partially to the news media, but only partially. NBC did engage in a coverup by delaying the Lias Meyers interivew with Broadderick until the Senate votes for Clinton were secure--that is a fact. But, there is no exucuse--nonze, zero, zilch---for a American Citizen to not know of what happened. If they claim ignorance, they are either:

1. Lazy

or

2. Culpable in excusing rape

Period. There is no gray area in this matter.

The poster Tickle Me Pank seems to have been banned. I am not sure why---he/she roared to Clinton's defense, which is what I would expect. But you are correct in you statement that they must defend him still. their world has been built on sand, and the waters of truth cannot be permitted to erode their flimsy foundation--lest they themselves be washed away. I have seen people face to face who are loyal democrats throw saliva on my shirt when this issue is brought to the surface. Inherently, they change the subject to:

GW Bush is a drunk , GW Bush was not really a F-102 pilot (and he went AWOL and the media are covering it up), and GW Bush did/does drugs.

I am perplexed and saddened by the lack of justice against Clinton, but I take solace in the fact that God is soverign.

Part of the problem is that about 70% of Americans get their news from television nightly news. Unless they saw and heard Brokaw, Jennings, and Rather tell them that Bill Clinton was a rapist, it must have never happened.

Oh, I agree. A good friend of mine who worked at the Pentagon with me a few years back (he still works there) said that the 9-11 ceremonies planned for this week were being "toned down" because the news media was objecting to the "American Jingoism" of their flavor (too many flags, etc). There are pictures on this board of people leaping to their deaths from the WTC---and the majority of the public will never see them--because the media don't want them to.

I posted a conversation I had last week regarding a lunch with a frien--who works with the media. He made a statement that the media would not run videos of airliners crashing into building on the 9-11 anniversary because: "The media do not irresponsibly repeat images that do nothing but enflame negative passions!"

It took our waitress within earshot but a second to ask him:

"Oh, you mean like the Rodney King video?"

Thanks for opening old wounds.

I'm not going to end my hatred just because Clinton confesses.

My hatred ends when the majority of Americans understand the damage that Clinton did to spirit and institutions of this country.

Geez, you've been banned. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Why the hell was he banned? He's been a member for almost two years, and now he gets banned for saying the rape story has no merit? There was nothing all that inflammatory in any of his posts, other than disagreeing with most everybody else here. Is defending Clinton on ANY subject automatic grounds for banning? I understand that this is a conservative forum, but do we all have to march in lock step with each other?

It's the complete and utter refusal of both sides to listen to any dissenting viewpoint, even within their own party, that's got the nation so polarized.

Am I gonna be next because I questioned it? Jeez.

Where are they going to get the information? NBC has canned the tape so that nobody can air clips of it. It was shown only once, opposite the grammys with no promos and virtually no follow up from any of the other stations.

I put the blame fully on the media (or whomever really controls the programming). A credible rape allegation does not meet the radar standards of our media but a BJ in the oval office is cause for endless headlines for months and months?

Maybe he will ask God and the victims for forgiveness.

No chance for that, he cares more for the living poor than the dead, it's called human peddling, it's his trade, he cannot do any goods peddling with his life, just humans for his life.
