I threw this one out on the other thread -- I think Chicago should be on alert right now -- the two cars had Illinois plates - they could have left the bomb there and are just on their getaway to Florida.

They're making a big deal about the fact that these men were speaking English to each other. Well, they could be from different Arab countries and don't speak each other's language/dialect and they each understand English. That would explain it.

Local news just said they are planning on transporting the suspects to Fort Myers, where there is a federal courthouse. There are still in Naples at this point. There is a no-fly zone over the area.

RED FLAG!!! Wasn't Atta in the Miami area not long before 9/11? Wasn't that area where the first anthrax attacks hit last fall? Possible connection of dots????

Well, after hearing that the 9/11 terrorists frequented bars and strip clubs, maybe even Vegas, I think a martyr sized trip to the breakfast bar is not entirely out of the realm of possibility ;)

I think Americans should adopt a new hand signal for 911. Index and middle finger straight up together signifying the WTC and then spread the fingers to the victory "V" showing that we remember 911, but victory is ours!

What I find odd is that they would draw attention to themselves by going through a toll booth without paying....unless they were PLANNING to get stopped.

Perhaps they didnt have any change or maybe they just dont have any respect for the law. On the other hand if they think they are great martyrs, they may think they are so fantastic that they couldnt possibly get caught.

On the other hand they may just be stupid. Richard Reid and the guy that started a gun fight at the El Al ticket counter at LAX come to mind. Maybe to be a martyr for Allah you dont have to be a crazy Islamic true believer, just stupid.
