DRAGON'S FURY: TRODDEN UNDER by Jeff Head - A MUST Read
Posted on 09/19/2002 7:48:25 AM PDT by NorseWood
Jeff Head's Book I (Dragon's Fury: Breath of Fire) was great! Book II (Dragon's Fury: Trodden Under) is even better!! I received it about a week ago and couldn't put it down. Jeff again has displayed a mastery of blending together a multitude of characters and mini-dramas into a very exciting, intense novel. His story telling had me so emotionally involved that I had to put the book down at times to cool off, but I quickly picked it up again to continue. Jeff's scenario of how a World War III could come about is bone chilling and gut retching. It is a "must read"!!

Alright! ... then that calls for a double thanks to you.
I will be at the Boise gun show here in Idaho this weekend. A local gun dealer bought 150 of the books, split between the two volumes, and will be selling them there and at other shows around the NW. He asked me to come and sit with him and sign a few.
Great excuse to get to the gun show too. The guy has a Barretts .50 I would love to own ... but alas, it's also way out of my "range". LOL!

I'm about 2/3 of the way through your first in the series and will be ordering the second soon.
Good reading, Jeff.

Don't wait to order it . . . do it now! It is even better than the first book. I had to wait for a long time for Amazon to get it to me but it was worth it.

Ha ... my wife already told me if the books ever do that well ... to count on it remaining out of my "range" until a whole lot of those other honey-do's not only come in range, but are hit squarely in the bull's eye. LOL!
None the less ... a fellow has to dream.

I just finished book 2 a couple days ago. If you like book 1 your going to love book 2.
The whole scenario is so plausable that it could be possible and I wonder if it's probable.Yikes!
Way to go Jeff!
I think everyone should read Jeff's book.

Kudos, Jeff!!! Thanks for the heads up!

Whoa. Thanks for those kind words.
Please consider posting them on Amazon and Barnes and Noble if you are so inclined.
Best fregards and Volume III is in works for a spring delivery right now.
To: Jeff Head
I already posted one for book 1 on Barnes & Nobles.
Why I did that, I don't know since I bought both 1 & 2 from Amazon.
Early Parkinson's setting in, I guess.
I just realized I forgot to format the email too.

History is catching up. I already have a second edition mod to Volume I to account for Saddam being outsted by us as soon as it happens.
With that mod, the others can proceed as they are.
We shall see. IN the mean time, Volume III is going forward.

Thanks. I really believe you will enjoy it. Let me know what you think when you finish.

Jeff, I got your book on wednesday and devoured 99 pages. It was the first rain we had in 2 1/2 months so I didn't have any outside chores. By page 50 I had already cryed, the Mall was a little close to home and brought back some of the feelings about Columbine.
The rain is over so it will probably be the weekend before I can get your review out. There have been only a handfull of books that I have read in less than a week and two of them have been yours.
