HEATON: Yes, I've thought about it. On a personal level, as a Christian, it will not be Barbra Streisand I'm standing in front of when I have to make an accounting of my life.PRICELESS! And excellent post.

Interesting..You know, in my area, we have those f**king Canadien Geese; and their protected by law. Now, I'm curious, if I wipe out their eggs during nesting season, am I breaking the law? Seriously, all I am doing is breaking egg's right? I'm not really killing a goose at that point.

Both LADIES are inspirational. But how very telling that our society has slipped so low; we count as heroic women who believe the unborn are human beings, that purposely killing another innocent human individual is wrong. These LADIES are of course absolutely correct, but how sad that we the people have slumped so low that fundamental truth is considered a cause for heroism.

I saw parts of interviews with both of these ladies. Kathy Ireland was amazing and proved that her beauty isn't just skin-deep.
I hadn't heard the Patricia Heaton discussion about abortion. "..., it will not be Barbra Streisand I'm standing in front of when I have to make an accounting of my life." Priceless.

Wow, this is powerful. Both Kathy Ireland and Patricia Heaton made some very good points. Ireland's challenge to Colmes to prove that an unborn child isn't a human is a good one. Heaton's organization argues that you can and should be pro-life if you are a feminist. I saw a few of her organization's ads in my local college paper last year. Very good stuff.

You're right about it being amazing that obvious truth shines so brightly. BTW do you by any chance know who said the thing about "people flock to a brave man's cause when it's seen to be winning, for then it costs nothing to be brave" ? These women are brave because the issue isn't costless yet. Thanks.

it will not be Barbra Streisand I'm standing in front of when I have to make an accounting of my life. lol. Great line.

Patricia Heaton is a Republican? That's nice to hear. I love Everybody Loves Raymond, and thought it was an absolute joke that Jennifer Aniston won the Best Actress in a Comedy over her.

On a personal level, as a Christian, it will not be Barbra Streisand I'm standing in front of when I have to make an accounting of my life.Awesome quote.

Ireland's challenge to Colmes to prove that an unborn child isn't a human is a good oneI agree... Another way (I believe) that it could be argued is that this is the "Slavery Issue" of today. People who were for slavery believed that blacks were not human, or at least, subhuman. While the abolishonists believed that blacks were human, and deserved the same rights as whites. The pro-life people believe that the fetus is a person, while the pro-abortion people don't. For the pro-life, it's a moral issue. For the pro-abortionists, it's a political issue.
