If any Americans die because of Byrd's delaying tactics, he should be hung. Actually, it's "hanged". I don't want to know about the other meaning at all.

Dear Senator;
I am writing to tell you how much I support what you are doing with regards to this illegal, unconstitutional War with Iraq. This President has gone too far and I believe if a Man such as yourself were accupying the West Wing then our Nation wouldnt be in this mess.
Please do all you can to stop the Senate from giving way to this nonsense.

Baghdad for now appears to be drawing a line short of conducting terrorist attacks with conventional or chemical or biological weapons.'' .... But Tenet went on to say that should Saddam conclude that a U.S.-led attack against his country could not be deterred, ``he probably would become much less constrained in adopting terrorist action.'' The way Im reading it, he's essentially stating that right now Sadam is contained, but should we attack Iraq, he's more likely to us his weapons. It sounds to me like he's taking the containment approach rather than the President's preemptive approach

If the $500M Robert Byrd Homeland Security Center were proposed to be located in WV, he'd be onboard like flies on *&^%. Make that the $500M Robert C. Byrd Homeland Security Center and it's a done deal. You DO want the Homeland Security Center to bear the full name of the #1 Porkmeister in the Senate, don't you?

I hope they talk all month in the Senate. No wonder Daschle looked like Hell on Sunday morning during Meet the Press.

To Senator Byrd: Delay away you senile old coot!!! This will keep attention focused on the war on terrorism and blow up Little Tommy D@shole's and Terry McAuliffe's desperate attempts to blame President Bush for the "disastrous economy."
ROTFLOL--Dumb@ssocrat party "discipline" is disintegrating day by day.

Byrd, widely respected for his deep knowledge of the Senate rulesWhen this old prune finally dries up that's what will be on his gravestone after 40 years on the public teat:
"HERE LIES SEN. ROBERT BYRD... ....HE SURE NEW THE RULES GOOD!"

So the Iraqi blackmail of the US and Western Nations begins with if you invade us we will unleash bio terror. And the Senate cowers in fear. If Saddam does do something like that there will be no Iraq, no Saddam. This bunch of cowards makes me ashamed. They are truly disgusting. Are we going to go on forever with the threat of Iraq hurting us and letting them do whatever they want to get nukes? These defenders of the American people are useless and who needs them?

Is that a horn starting to grow out of his forehead?
Can't quite tell if he's starting to look more like Carville or the Devil. Not that there's really a difference....

How could the containment approach not include the poliferation of WMD in Iraq?

The Philadelphia Inquirer front page yesterday was about democrats supporting the resolution because Bush has a "gun to their heads" and quoted especially offensive talk by congressman Wexler that he and the others will vote for it but hate doing it, but they have no choice. Really disgusting.

Byrd's continued disrruption of the vote will surely rebound on the asshole for a lack of control of his people

Actually, it's "hanged". I don't want to know about the other meaning at all. Hmmm... Methinks you're right. On both counts.

Obviously the esteemed Senator from West Virginia knows when it's time to don the white sheets and funny hat of leadership. You go, Bob!
