[history]
By a growing margin, more than twice as many Americans feel U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton should never run for president, according to a poll released Monday.
The Marist Institute for Public Opinion found 69 percent of Americans said the Democratic former first lady should never run for president. Twenty-six percent said she should run "someday." That's a steady decline in support since March 2001 when the poll found 30 percent felt she should run for president someday.

This is CT mind you! Wow!

I sure hope she runs. She's got all of her husband's ideological baggage, and more, with none of his charm, and she'll really mobilize the meat-eating conservative base. Think Al Smith.

A trait of narcissists, people with a conviction of superiority, is that they retaliate aggressively when their self-esteem is threatened. If Hillary sees this poll she will be at her most dangerous.

Hillary is staking her hopes on WMD attacks against the US during the Iraq campaign. She's hoping the public will blame Bush, and not her former co-President. Outside of that scenario, her prospects for grabbing more power look bleak indeed.

I think she knows these polls will never change and will try to sneak in the back door ala a non-elected VP. One day, the Prez will meet some good fellas from arkansas and there she is in the oval office again. Boy, would that be a bad day and an omen of more to come.
I sure hope I'm wrong!

Al Smith is too far back...Think McGovern, Carter, & Mondale!
To: The Great Satan
She's not biting her nails HOPING it...She's arrogantly EXPECTING it.
It's a "HOW DARE ANYONE QUESTION ME?" thing she oozes every living day, and for a woman who has done damn near NOTHING of substance except run her alligator mouth her whole political career, let her run & see what getting her hippopotomus butt kicked is like!

To any THINKING American, the only thing scarier than Hitlery on the ticket for President is Hitlery on the ticket for Vice-President...The evil plotting for takeover due to a "convenient accident" is mind boggling.

She will be but what will her and McCauliffe do without any power, I doubt she will get another senate term--either. Even New Yorkers can be fooled more than once. After she is a wash out see how many Yankee's games she attends.

She will back door. Nothing will stop her narcissisim.

I never thought that Hiliary Clinton would be the first female President of the United States. If it comes to that, it will be Rice, not Clinton.
That would be an interesting matchup for President, Rice aganist Clinton.
