What about those of us that grew up watching Leave it to Beaver, Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger, My Three Sons, Andy Griffith etc... Those were solid, values oriented shows. Those of you who watched those shows are over 50 years old and not really the subject of discussion in the article. ;)

Marriage is a 50/50 proposition for a man: 50% chance you lose 50% of your stuff, minus lawyer's fees of course. Thanks to Feminism the reproduction rate will fall even lower. So the population will be replaced with the Mexican immigrants at the best or with Muslims at worst.
I wonder how Feminists will do in Muslim society?

Men bring so much hurt and misery into womens lives. Whether it be physical abuse, rape, emotional abuse, adultery, (though that could go both ways), child abuse, pedophilia, dead-beat-dad-syndrome, (not paying child support), morally bankrupt, intellectually void (cave-man-mentality)...the list goes on and on... You swallowed the Feminist propaganda. A society in which women got brainwashed to believe that men are bad and they women have right to con them is doomed to die out.

More so....men who have mentally challenged children and dump them off to the state only to pursue his own fullfillment in another state. I know of such one "man".
Well at least he is getting laid now. That which is much more important than raising a daughter.
Priorities!

...such as the rise in unwed childbearing...
Bastard should return to our public debate.

And believe me, I still have male friends which I respect and care deeply for, but as far as letting one into my life, into my home, and into my son's life...no way! With your attitude towards males, your son will obviously grow up happy and well-adjusted.
NOT !

Sorry to tell you this, but in the fullness of time your son will become what you hate and fear. A man. Only if he's very lucky. Most men raised in an environment like this seek out female abusers as partners. They're utterly unable to deal with women as equals (women are always right) and buy into the idiotic myths that all men are abusers, alcoholics, rapists, violent, etc. (as women are always right). The sick women who foster this view, the men-haters, are like any other person who can't take responsibility for themselves and buys the victim mentality wholesale.
Unfortunately the male offspring of man-haters are almost always self-haters.

please be careful, I don't want to have a "feminism was intended to give ugly women a chance at men" discussion.
To: longtermmemmory
9. They want to own a house before they get a wife "Have a house before marriage as protection in case of divorce. My house my rules" And better yet, have the house be in their mom's name, with him as a lease-less tenant. No way for the woman to get her hands on it.
To: jimt
I'm sorry you feel that way Jimt. I'm just a realist.

If the above is what you think of men in general, you have no business raising a son. I can only imagine what he thinks of male-female relationships at this point
For every male-beast story you might have, I probably know an equally-bad woman who screwed the man in her life

Your son's name wouldn't be "Cary" or "Carrie", would it?
To: ctonious
Not at all. Why do you ask? Carrie sounds like a girl's name.

I don't consider being aware of society's ill treatment of women and children being "brainwashed." And I'm sorry that you and others here aren't realists. I don't go out of my way for specific studies, I just engage myself in past, history, present news, and observances of my own experiences of family, friends in my life.

Though I wouldn't mind getting married, I've found it to be the easiest way for golddiggers to make a living. If I wanted to pay someone's way through life, I'd start a business or fund some one in need who's deserving. And women today (even a lot of the churchified ones) care more about money and looks than about anything else, so... LOL

Looks like a lot of people also objected to your demonizing of men.
And regarding:
"The facts in all of human civilization speak against you."
So say you. Do you contend that testosterone is the root of all evil then? They Y Chromosome?
To: FOMTY
What are you talking about?..."against all civilization?" Can't you read? I'm sorry that sounded offensive, but honestly, you and some others here aren't bothering to read my entire posts. I don't hate any man. Not ONE! I look up to, admire, respect, care deeply for all the male friends in my life. Please don't misinterpret me anymore. It's really making the issue disproportionate to the intention of my original post on this thread.
