Democratic Vote Fraud in Wisconsin Gov. Race
NBC Milwaukee Affiliate-WTMJ TV | October 22, 2002 | WTMJ -TV Milwaukee

Posted on 10/22/2002 8:37:20 PM PDT by SteveAustin

WTMJ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Milwaukee tonight aired an undercover investigation at a group home for mentally disabled patients in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where campaign workers for Jim Doyle, democratic candidate for governor were handing out small amounts of money and free food to the residents. They then were herded upstairs into a separate room and given absentee ballots to cast their vote for governor. Local reporter, Scott Friedman captured this on camera and broadcast it in an exclusive report tonight on Milwaukee news. The Doyle campaign is not commenting.

Jay Heck, leader of Wisconsin political watchdog group, Common Cause, was stunned at the series of events when he viewed the undercover investigation. Memories of Al Gore campaign workers handing out cigarettes to homeless in Milwaukee, and then taking them to the polls in 2000 immediately came to mind.

I do not know about the legality of posting the actual file elsewhere. There probably would be a legal issue, and there definitely would be a bandwidth issue.

I fired off emails to both WTMJ-TV and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this morning. Neither web site had the story and the newspaper did not mention it from what I can see. We Wisconsites MUST push this!!!!

PS......I'm not kidding. The Republican was cool, calm, and collected. McCaluff was a twiching, nervous wreck. He was giggeling like a kid in line for a school shot. His hands were wringing, and he couldn't hold still.
Democrats are in big doo-doo.

Using the homeless is bad enough, but to use mentally handicapped adults who don't begin to understand why they are being used, is despicable. I'd like to see Bill O'reilly get hold of this. Democrats can be such slime balls......

No! No! They were 'channeling' the dead person's spirit and voted as the dead wished! See, nothing but harmless auto-writing. /oozing sarcasm at the Dems.
Just proves that you have to be dead to vote Democrat....

The Journtinel did, but barely (item #2 on today's buried campaign "notebook" - VERY hard to find online, on page 3B in the paper). They'll say that it's more than enough coverage (after all, it's critical of their "anointed one") and conveniently ignore that had McCallum's campaign tried this, it would be front page news every day until McCallum withdraws from office and is convicted.

Glad you posted this- I wasn't finding a print version of the story. Saw it on TV and heard it on the radio yesterday. In 2000 it was cigarettes; in 2002 it's pastries, pop and quarters. Pitiful.

I find it interesting that in the 2000 elections, a guy who had died was voted in.. and the Dems said they didn't have enough time to place a shoe-in for him. (They had almost six months.)
Yet, in New Jersey, Toricelli gets nabbed for his crimes and the Dems push the "Laut" on the state with three months to go to the elections. And say that there's nothing wrong.

Now, if six months isn't enough time to replace a dead candidate in one state, then three months isn't enough time to replace a politically dead candidate in another state.
Anyone else see that as well? (Dem vote fraud seems to be a big ticket item this year. And in every state in the union as well.)

Update on story on the WBAY TV2 website:

Doyle Campaign Questioned About Party for Disabled

Questions have been raised about a bingo party at a mentally disabled care facility in Kenosha sponsored by Democratic campaign workers.

A Milwaukee television station reports residents of the Dayton care facility in Kenosha attended the party in which they were given free food, drink and some quarters for bingo. Then they were urged by Jim Doyle campaign workers to go to another room and vote by absentee ballot.

Jay Heck from the government watchdog organization Common Cause says it appears the mentally disabled residents were being manipulated for their votes on behalf of Jim Doyle.

The state Elections Board has referred the matter to the Kenosha County district attorney.

We need this to go national. We need Rush, Brit, Sean and anybody else on our side to receive this information. Have you sent anything to anyone? Also, we need lots of freepers from around the country to contact The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and WTMJ-TV to help us.

Please go to jsonline.com, fellow freepers, and help us out here, OK?

It's whatever is in the RATs' advantage. If it's giving a few bums some smokes, so be it. If it's having a bunch of students make the grand tour of the voting places, so be it. If it's keeping a dead guy on the ballot, so be it. If it's a last-second replacement of a politically-toasted guy, so be it. If it's keeping the polls open until it's known just how many votes need to be manufactured, so be it. If it's counting, and counting, and counting, and counting, and counting, and counting, and counting, and counting, each time manufacturing a few more RAT votes, until the RAT wins, so be it. If it's giving a few trinkets to a bunch of dullards (I know, politically-incorrect, but much faster to type), so be it.

Indeed, the New DemonRAT party views each and every one of these illegalities as something to be done again and again, even if it's not necessary.

Sent to Rush, Brit and James Taranto (OpinionJournal.com). Also asked Mr. Taranto to forward to John Fund and Paul Gigot (the latter is a Cheddar Brain).

It's slowly spreading, but it's at the bottom of the WBAY website (below even the "Doyle still leads" story).

I e-mailed it to Drudge. He's running three links to stories on "voter fraud follies" at the top of his web page. He needs to add a fourth.

These dims are absolutely immoral, shameless, and disgusting.

This kind of crap is going on nation wide, and the longer they get away with it the worse it gets. And this to me is the only explanation, aside from a sychophant media, for the dims having as much power as that do right now. The 'pubs have got to come up with a ccordinated plan to deal with this problem throughout the country.

What is their general feeling about Democrat fraud, etc.? Does anyone know?

They deny it exists, but what would you expect of a RAT?

...and cheaper. Taxes on cigs in Wisconsin make the price about $4.50/pack.

Evidently campaign budgets aren't what they used to be...
