I don't know .. may be it's me .. but I don't lump people all into one group

And we should search all the old ladies boarding the planes just to be PC. Profiling is SUCH a BAD word!

A Judge let him loose, but INS could have objected or appealed.

First time I've found myself disagreeing with you, r9. What FACTS are being twisted by Malkin?

Malvo is at LEAST an accessory to murder. It cannot be said that he was NOT the shooter in any of the murders, including the Alabama liquor store murder.

Cordially,

"Ziglar also got paid $130K not to do his job."

Does Ziglar get a pension, severance or any kind of a benefits package upon leaving? We don't have to keep paying this reprobate after December, do we?

I'd like to see the surviving family members name the INS, Ziglar, Bush and that half-wit INS judge in a lawsuit the size our national debt.

I hope I get called for jury duty.

He was apprehended by the Border Patrol in Bellingham, Wash., in December 2001,

Probably he was fingerprinted in that apprehension, which is what led to his identification in the Montgomery, AL case.

Note that the Montgomery police in all likelihood ran their single fingerprint sample against local and FBI databases, and they came up empty.

Yet when the Feds ran the print, they identified Malvo.

My guess is that the Feds (the sniper task force) gained access to the INS fingerprint database, and used it, while the local Montgomery, AL police had no access to INS fingerprint records.

I suppose that INS fingerprint records are not normally shared with the FBI or any other national fingerprint system, due to "privacy" concerns.

How utterly disgusting.

"Malvo is at LEAST an accessory to murder. It cannot be said that he was NOT the shooter in any of the murders, including the Alabama liquor store murder. "

A composite sketch of Malvo was taken from a witness at the Alabama murder. It was very accurate. He close enough to the scene to be fingered. He wasn't hiding behind a bush or quivering on the floor of the car. He was right in on the action.

Sorry, your are incorrect. Go to Deport Aliens to learn about the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).

After all, the terrorist angle came about because Malvo fell into cahoots with his stepdad -- an American, born and bred. They went on a crime spree, for which the original idea, not to mention the money and expertise, almost certainly came from a domestic source -- John Mohammed.

The kid, if he is a kid, that is under 18, is not his stepson, nor his son, just a kid he picked up somewhere, probably the mosque. We don't yet know where JM got his ideas, could be from a foreign Iman/Preacher down at the local mosque. Athough I'll admist it's as likely he got them from Calypso Louie.

"some sort of custody dispute" was probably the mother objecting to her son taking up with that "no count" Mohammed, rather than a more conventional dispute involving "exes" or estranged parents of a kid or kids. It's easy to see that the Border Patrol could get this part wrong, as it's not their concern. The illegal status of the kid and his mother was their concern.

You are correct. The the INS fingerprint system (IDENT) is not linked to the FBI or any other database. Not so much due to privacy concerns. More due to stupidity.
