Wow. Of all the personalities involved, I thought you would be the one to eventually unite us.

It is so hard to separate the radical from the religion. I try, but it is definately difficult to do.
The members of the religion of Islam are the only people who can separate and deliniate these radicals. They have done a poor job up to today.
They need to get passionate and angry as these folks appear to be.

Thanks for the heads up.

What a good point! And did you see the buses in the background? Were they taking away the liberal "rent-a-crowd"
The Iraqis were definitely an asset. It took a major criticism of the Left and destroyed it (that no muslim Iraqis are in favor of the removal of Saddam). Don'tcha see? There is no way that the Left can say that we didn't "celebrate diversity!"

They have more genuine emotion and powerful statements than all of the moth-eaten retreads of that OTHER rally.
Completely unsolicited suggestions:
Put the FR URL prominently on or behind the dais, in clear continuous view of the camera. Maybe make up some gimme caps or stickers with the URL on them too; enough to hand out to participants and interested passersby.
DO NOT solicit funds at public events (unless you have such an appeal in handout literature). The other side did that, to great hilarity here.
Bunch up attendees so more of them fall into the camera's view during public events. The other side did this, and they looked like an army on TV when there were really only a few of them.

I think we should try to keep the Islam/Arab-bashing (the unwarranted kind) to a bare minimum.
I've been pretty harsh on the radical Muslims. Seeing these people just now saying "God Bless America" makes me hope that we can see some Muslim clerics stand up and say that the radical Muslims are wrong. LOUDLY.
Interesting that the "other side" made a lot of noise and you could see they were just doing so to drum up support and money. There was no passion. But the folks are "our side" really were believable. The camera never blinks....
Heck of a show!

You're welcome! I only wish I had thought to ping earlier.

Nothing nefarious happened today. Angelwood received some distressing personal news during the rally today. She is really strung out. Give her her space.
The ENEMY is the LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'Pod

I think the rally ran from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00. The Iraqis returned which they may have edited out. I hope they didn't edit out when the lefties invaded and when they marched through our space dressed in crazy costumes. Really, really dumb and I'm not sure what the point is they were trying to make. Someone took a workshop in street theatre and thought they'd try it out.

Jimmy Valentine did not attend. Jimmy Valentine's Brother did attend.

The current speaker just nailed it when he said that everyone at the Freeper rally is not paid to be there, but there out of desire and patriotism.
