What's going on with Free Republic? Am I the only one who's having trouble accessing the site? I can't even post.

Nope. It's on again off again slow as a slug. I suspect its just the heavy election traffic. It could be a denial of service attack; but the pattern I see is more consistent with there being tons of traffic.

I highly doubt that it's traffic here...there are some probs which reportedly have been acknowledged by JimRob. I got right in (just after 8pm) this evening, so hopefully the fix is in.

I don't know, It has been acting up for a few days though. I thought it was my computer and have spent the last two days cleaning off my hard drive, defragging, throwing away files, etc. for nothing, because it is this forum not me!

It ain't working right. If I knew why, it'd be fixed. Nothing else to report at the moment, other than we've used our last bit of duct tape and Chief's auto doesn't have any more WD40. They've special ordered in a new shipment of both just for us.
