DAY ONE: MONDALE GOES NEGATIVE
Thu Oct 31 2002 17:32:31 ET
A new negative radio ad against Minnesota Republican Senate candidate Norm Coleman was launched just hours after former Vice President Walter Mondalee agreed to run for Senate.
Text of Ad, obtained by DRUDGE:
It sent thousands of good paying Minnesota jobs to China and Mexico.
Free trade has led to 36 bankruptcies in the steel industry alone.
And where was Norm Coleman when 1200 jobs were lost at LTV steel mining in Aurora because of the illegal dumping of steel?
And by the way, ask Norm Coleman about Lawson Software and Consceco Financial, two corporations that received millions in public subsidies while he was mayor of St. Paul.
These corporations have already laid off a total of 745 workers since Norm subsidized them. Don't let Norm Coleman do to Minnesota what he did to St. Paul.
Call Norm Coleman and tell him that before he makes any more campaign promises about creating jobs, he should start protecting the ones we already have.
end
Also mentioned was that Mondale said he was in favor of Wellstone's vote to give the United Nations veto power over United States foreign policy.
The text of that ad is almost verbatim of the attacks currently being run against Mitt Romney in Massachusetts. Just switch the names and places, and the lies, half truths, misstatements remain the same. Has the smell of Clinton and his handpuppet McAuliffe all over it.
New commercial:
It sent thousands of good paying Minnesota jobs to China and Mexico and prolonged the cold war.
Incredibly high interest and taxes have led to hundreds, even thousands of bankruptcies in U.S. industries.
And where was Walter Mondale when American hostages were held for over a year because of the ineffective and pathetic foreign policy of Jimmy Carter?
And by the way, ask Walter Mondale why he was laughing it up at a so-called memorial service for the deceased Paul Wellstone, and buddying up with Bill Clinton, a man that committed adultery with his daughter.
Carter/Mondale/Clinton caused the loss of thousands of jobs with their high interest rates and tax policies. Don't let Walter Mondale do to Minnesota what he did to the entire United States as Vice President.
Call Walter Mondale and tell him that before he makes any more campaign promises about anything, he should apologize for the damages he did twenty five years ago. Tell him to stay on the sidelines like a good retiree.
Wow, a truly veritable verbal luminary!
There is gravity, and gravitas, but beyond that.. you are generally correct.
No, I think it's called Pallor Of Death.
I like it!
Lying Libs are like serial murderers. They just can't help themselves.
It's due to the core evil erupting.
Agreed. They have mis-judged 9-11 and the resultant intensity of the Republican "sleeper" vote.
Uh...er...wh...uh...but...Why am I here, anyway?
How about: "Don't Trust Frust"
